Title: Woe of the Silent (1 Corinthians 9:16-23)

1. Because evangelism is a command from God.

2. It is because the soul of a person is more precious than the world.

“What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? What will a man give in exchange for his life?” (Matthew 16:26) Jesus spoke of the preciousness of the soul and said this again. “You fool, tonight your soul will be sought, and then whose will your preparations be?” (Luke 12:20) No matter how much wealth or honor you have, you cannot exchange it for a soul. Therefore, you should know that if you let unbelievers get destroyed and go to hell, it will be a terrible sin, just like letting go of their duties by letting them see an unexploded bomb. Knowing that there is nothing more precious than the soul of a person, I pray that you will become believers who evangelize diligently.

3. Because evangelism is the practice of the new commandment

Jesus said love is the new commandment. Then, you should know that the greatest way to practice love as the new commandment is to evangelize.

If a person does not believe in Jesus, he will go to hell in the end. Hell is not the kind of place that can be tolerated with just moderate patience. It's very painful and it's a sore throat. The founder of the Salvation Army 'Pus' said this. He said that if he could do it, he would put them in hell for 10 minutes and then take them out, and they would turn into ardent evangelists. We must know that if we do not share the gospel with others, we become bystanders who allow their souls to go to hell. So it is a sin.
