3 factors that make a title character

The Gospel of John (13) The three elements that make you a person (John 1:35-42)

<Three elements that make you a character>

The text tells the story of Jesus getting his first disciple. The first two disciples of Jesus were originally the core disciples of John the Baptist (verse 35). Send them freely as disciples of the Lord. Here again we realize the wonderfulness of John the Baptist. As the two disciples followed the Lord, they inquired of the Lord's dwelling place. “Rabbi, where are you?” If you look at that question, you can read the intention of being with the Lord. And from the first day I met the Lord, I dwelt with the Lord (verse 39). How cool are these people? They were not 'begotten people', but 'made people'.

One of Jesus' first two disciples was Andrew (verse 40). Andrew soon met the greatest teacher and the greatest disciple by evangelizing his brother Peter (verse 41). At that time, when he first met Peter, Jesus saw his potential and said that he would be called Ceba (Rock) (verse 42). When you watch this scene, you learn some of the elements that make a character and make him a character.

1. Please understand the dream

The Lord understood Peter's dream. So he said, “Now you are a reed, but later you will surely become a rock.” In the end, just as he said, Peter really became the greatest disciple like the rock. Saints are not perfect works. It didn't come to the church because it became a work, but because it was lacking, but it came out because I had a dream that it would get better and be used. As such, acknowledge and understand each of your dreams and possibilities.

Peter said to himself, “It is not a work at present, but it will become a work of art in the future.” Please understand the other person's dreams and possibilities with such an understanding. If you decide to be disappointed just by looking at the current state of affairs, you will always be disappointed with people. However, when dreams and dreams work, the mind works, and when the mind works, the eyes for the shortcomings are closed and the eyes for the good points are opened. When the door of the heart is opened like that, the door of dialogue is opened, and at the same time, the door of blessing is also opened.

2. Have a dream

What the Lord said to Peter 2,000 years ago was ultimately the Word to all the saints. Even at this hour, the Lord is speaking. “You are not a work now, but you will become a work in the future.” Keep the Lord's voice in your heart, have a dream and confess it with faith. “I can do that. I, too, can become a holy great hand in missions and almsgiving. My dreams can come true.” If you challenge with such a confession of faith, sooner or later your faith will come to pass. Faith is the substance of a dream hoped for.

Which dreams are based on beliefs and which are false dreams? If your dream makes you powerless, it is a false dream, but if your dream makes you act and make you human, then it is a dream based on faith. Have specific dreams based on your beliefs. The saints have a better future than the past. God will surely appear and meet you through the dream as the living God in the dream.

3. Invite to your dreams

A dream that dwells only within oneself is not a holy dream. Only when that dream spreads can it become a truly holy dream. So, make an effort to invite someone to your dream field. Don't think evangelism is difficult. If I think that I will save my soul, evangelism feels difficult. However, evangelism does not feel difficult if you simply think of it as providing an opportunity to hear the gospel. Evangelism is not just saying “Believe!” but saying “Come and see!” is also evangelism.

Jesus also said, “Come and see” (verse 39). It is not always possible to evangelize only by preaching the 4 spiritual or some deep religious truth. Evangelism feels difficult if you know the Bible and try to spread the principles of the gospel well, but saying “Come and see!” is enough if you have enthusiasm and interest. In fact, there are statistics that new believers are better at evangelism than those who have a lot of knowledge of the Word. After all, evangelism is done with interest, not knowledge. Do your best to invite them to the field of dreams and the Word, “Come and see! At that time, the energy of history that becomes a character appears.
