The world we live in these days is so sharp that it is filled with distrust and anger that makes it difficult to breathe for some reason. The lives of many people around us are melting like watercolors on a rainy day. The modern home is becoming a jungle rather than a garden. They live with good furniture and facilities, but they are suffering from more diseases, accidents, and unwanted trials.
Some people liken the family to an iceberg. Just as a large chunk of ice is deeply submerged under the sea, our families seem peaceful and happy on the outside, but the reality is that they have many problems inside and out. There is no worry-free home. According to the Bible, the family is the original community established by God to give blessings and happiness. What causes the spark of love to be extinguished in such a home?
It is because of the forgetfulness of the purpose and responsibility of marriage and the relaxation of tension. A couple's fight is just one of two things, whether the couple wins together or loses together. Let's keep the flame of love in the home.
According to some surveys, what husbands most need from their wives is that they “want to be respected by their wives.” In the end, men answered that their wives looked the prettiest when protecting their self-esteem.
Wives, keep in mind that a good wife is a wife who builds up her husband. Meanwhile, according to a survey conducted with husbands, the most important thing that wives need from their husbands is “security” and the second is “expression of affection”.
Husbands, bear in mind that, above all, wives want to feel secure in their husbands. Also, keep in mind that there should always be a concrete expression of love in your married life. Love has short memories. In other words, people tend to forget about love because they are very forgetful, but they never forget things that are sad. To be a couple like friends, each other must be sincere and chaste.
But in order for the family to be qualitatively happy, there must be faith. It is because amazing miraculous graces come to families that fear God. In Psalm 112:1-3, God-fearing families guarantee that their descendants will become powerful people on this earth, and that wealth and glory will dwell there.
Even today, miracles happen in families who pray. God remembers those who pray today and gives the best grace to them. Prayer should be our first choice. Especially fathers should be able to pray. Because the prayer of the head of the family creates happiness in the family. That is why we must create a “family where the hand of the Lord is with us.” A person must first of all be healthy in spirit. The condition for happiness in the family is first and foremost the spiritual health of the head of the family. And know that the multiplier effect is multiplied when a couple prays together. Beloved, let's put our hands together and pray to God. So let's increase the happiness index of the family.
