Title: Family Prayer/Acts 12:1-19
Contents Family Prayer/Acts 12:1~19
Key Verse: “One man will be defeated, but two will be overcome. A threefold cord is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Word: A home is a small church. It is of course good to pray alone individually, but when a family prays in unity and when the saints pray in unity, God's amazing work happens. Today's key verse, Ecclesiastes 4:12, says, “A threefold cord is not easily broken.” The alliance is not easily broken. Unions have great power. You will experience the amazing work of God.
There are many passages in the Bible to pray with one accord. Matthew 18:19 says, “If two of you agree on earth to ask for anything, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Also, in Acts 2, the work of the descent of the Holy Spirit occurred while many people saw the ascension of Jesus, but the last 120 of them were praying together. The early church members of the New Testament raised their voices to God and prayed with one heart (Acts 4:24). As a result, the place where they were gathered was filled with the Holy Spirit to such a degree that a vibration occurred, and everyone spoke the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).
It is good to pray alone. It is beneficial and desirable to have time for personal prayer. But today, let's unite and pray together. Please pray together as a couple. Or try praying together with the whole family. At the same time and in the same place, the whole family should unite and pray for family problems. A wonderful miracle will happen in your home. When we pray together, God's amazing work is revealed. He said, “One person can be defeated, but two can be defeated. A threefold cord is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Let's pray together right now. God will do amazing miracles to your home in abundance.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, when our families unite in prayer, perform a wonderful miracle. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
