Father's house (John 14:1-6)
We leave the house when the sun rises and come home when the sun goes down. Home is our sanctuary and a place where we build hope for life. We live in the world and go home when the sun goes down, but when I die, where does my soul go?
The 14th chapter of the Gospel of John we read today begins with the words, “Do not let your heart be troubled.” This is what Jesus tells his disciples who are trembling in fear of death. Why did Jesus tell us not to be troubled? Because Jesus is preparing a place.
Who goes to heaven? We believe that heaven is for good, righteous and honest people. It's not like that. Where do you go after this meeting? I go home. I don't go to work or hotels. Do you go home doing a good deed? no. Even if we had a drink on the way and had a fight, we go home. Because it is my home and my father's house.
God's children, not good people, go to heaven. Death is not the end. Death is the door to eternity. The eternal world awaits. We must prepare this world. I bless you all to become children of God. No one knows and believes in God. It is a promise that you will believe in God. Then God works.
Salvation is threefold. It's about finding a way. Our life is a wanderlust. You have to find a way. There is only one way. Jesus. Salvation is the truth. Because we live in chaos. Jesus is the truth. Salvation is life. Because we live in death. Jesus is life.
I don't think you all understand this. But in the second half of your life, I hope your wife and children will be happy because of you who receive encore requests and are on the second stage. May you prepare for heaven.
Accept God. Accept Jesus by faith. May God's blessing be with you.
