Psalm 128
1. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD and walks in his way.
2. You shall eat according to the toil of your hands, and you shall be blessed and prosper.
3. Your wife in the inner chamber of your house will be like a fruitful vine, and your children around your table will be like young olive trees.
4. Those who fear the LORD will thus be blessed.
5. May the LORD bless you in Zion; you shall see the blessings of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6. Behold your children, peace be with Israel.
Ephesians 6
1. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2. Honor your father and mother, for this is the first commandment with promise.
3. For it may be well with you, and you will live long on the earth.
4. Also, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

Subject: Father's Life
Text: Psalm 128:1-6, Ephesians 6:1-4,
‘Father’s Life’ is a title that came to mind while thinking about the role of a father in ‘mother’s love. It is a movement that stems from the realization that the age in which we live has usurped the father's place. Minister Hutt, who hosted the International Conference on Restoring Fathers' Rights in Helsinki, Finland, said: 'Men have been reduced to beasts tied to the social structure they have created...' It takes extraordinary courage to endure it all. Now there is no place for men to stand in the home.’ If that’s the case, shouldn’t we just live like that? However, they say that it will be the most tragic society among the many forms of life that have appeared in human history, and that the father must be found.
He says that the path is, first of all, the awareness of the Fathers themselves. Awareness of the father's role. Henry Biller talks about the problem of a father who has lost his father's authority. “The most dangerous thing for fathers today is the fact that they do not actually perceive the father's authority that fathers of the past had. Because of the pressure of social life, they do not realize how important they are to their children and how important their role is to them. You are forgetting that the role of a father is the basic realm of being a man.' The sound of 'children without a father', which used to be the psychological scourge of single mothers, reminds me of the words to not listen to them. This is because the role of the father is as important to the children as the role of the mother.
There is an old saying, 'the virtue of being in place'. Whatever it is, it has to be in its place for its existence to be effective. The cattle must be in the fields, and the animals must be in the mountains. Likewise, the place where the father should be is the home. But since when did we have no father in our home? Busy with work outside the home, there is always an empty seat. So, what remains in the place where the father disappeared are the symptoms of paternal ataxia. In this case, it was said that the emotional deficit rather than the economic one showed its symptoms in all areas of life. If not healed through special experiences, the aftereffects will last a lifetime. For children, a father's life is as important as a mother's love.
Today's Old Testament text (Psalm 128:1-6) sang about the life of a father who built a happy family. My father's life here is 'a life that fears the Lord and walks in His Way'. Of course, it's a lifetime. This is what I want to call ‘the song of a happy family head’. The world and society he lives in is also beautiful (Psalm 128:5,6). Today's New Testament text is a life that is possible only when we save time and receive the filling of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:15-21). Marital happiness becomes possible (Ephesians 5:22-33). And the life that follows is a happy life between parents and children (Ephesians 6:1-4). A happy family is a life that is possible only in the filling of the Holy Spirit. It is such a difficult and important task. Especially in front of their children, everything in a parent's life is like a glass box. He told us to serve and obey our parents when we were children, and to use only the education and instruction of the Lord as a parent. A good father's life is essential to the well-being of his children.
