Title: Father David's Heart
Contents :
Through the Song of Songs, it explains the love and hope between Jesus Christ and the saints through the love of Solomon, the king's precious son, and the shallow Shulammite woman. shows that you do.
Absalom tortured King David as the son of his father, King David, from the time he was born until his death.
▶Absalom called his brothers on the day of shearing the sheep to kill his half-brother Amnon because he said he had defiled his sister Tamar.
▶After returning from exile because of his father's forgiveness, he waited at the gates of Jerusalem and committed a rebellious act of turning the hearts of those who came out to judge his father against him.
▶I did the terrible thing that I gathered the whole army and rebelled against my father and tried to drive him out and kill him.
Even though it was Absalom, King David had only love for Absalom and showed his love to the end.
Perhaps this could be seen as a type of love that God came to this earth for humans who made the world evil and the kingdom of the Father into a den of vipers.
In the text, we can see the love of God the Father through the father David.
Parents love their children to the end, even if their hearts are not even worthy of love.
It is the heart of parents to wish their children to prosper and be peaceful.
David asks if the rebellious and bankrupt son is well.
It is a sad image of parents looking forward to their son Absalom returning alive and returning to their arms.
Parents anxiously wait for the good news of their children until the end.
I get out of the house and wait impatiently between the two doors.
Parents put their children before their own lives.
David weeps over the news of the death of the rebellious Absalom, who acted so wickedly.
Another thing in the text, we say, is that evil must fail and God's will will be done.
Human status or power that goes against the will of God will eventually perish, like Babylon and Absalom.
Through today's Mother's Day, we learn the love and patience of God the Father, who loved Israel, who endlessly betrayed God and practiced idols and evils between their father King David and the rebellious Absalom. I hope that you will become a Christian who spreads the will of God.
