Title: Father in Heaven

Heavenly Father (Psalm 116:1-19)
You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling. How will I repay the Lord for all the grace he has given me (Psalm 116:8.12).
Even though parents sacrificed everything for their children, there are some cases where their children go astray and cause great suffering to their parents. Parents worked so hard to lose their bones and did everything for their children, but even the parents do not recognize them and fall into a bad path. Why would that happen? It was because they did a good job of supplying, but they did not do the job of delivering. Parents have the responsibility to provide and guide their children. Usually, parents know that they only need to supply, and they are eager to provide it. It is difficult to supply, but even more difficult to lead. Buying a computer is easy, but teaching it to use it for good rather than for games or bad things is more difficult.
The saint who wrote Psalm 116 did not have great wealth or great success in the world. However, he is worried that God's grace is so great that there is no way to repay it. What grace was so great? It was not a grace to provide, but a grace to guide. Mature people realize that the grace to guide is greater than the grace of their parents to provide. It is to realize the grace of scolding and beating the rod. Those who have matured in their faith know how to be more grateful for the grace that God has provided than for the grace that God has provided. Are you not getting what you want and suffering only from it? Through its lack and suffering it frees your soul from death, from tears, from hell, from hell.
