Daniel (25) Five great blessings from God (Daniel 6:18-21)
1. Salvation
King Darius was caught up in the schemes of his men and forced Daniel into the lions' den, saying, "Your God, whom you serve all the time, will save you!" (verse 16). The next day, when King Darius, who had been fasting all night, almost woke up at dawn, rushed to the lions' den and called for Daniel, God saved Daniel from the den of death (verse 21). The same history of salvation is unfolding from time to time. Salvation is the foundation of blessing. Being wealthy, prosperous, smart, and pain-free is not the only thing that makes you happy. Even if there are problems and difficulties sometimes, it is the most blessed thing to not lose faith in salvation, joy, and emotion.
2. Peace
On the night Daniel was thrown into the lions' den, King Darius could neither eat nor sleep (verse 18). If you inflict pain on the righteous, you will suffer more. A saint is a person who cannot be comfortable with causing difficulties to others. When I finished my studies in the United States, I sold my old car to someone cheap. But about two months later, the car was passing through Manhattan and stopped. I'm so sorry. Later, he went on a mission to Mongolia, and when he heard that he was having a hard time because there was no vehicle in Mongolia, he worked hard to buy a car and donated it for him. It was then that the feeling of regret was relieved after almost 10 years. Even if you are harmed, don't do any harm, and find peace of mind.
3. Authority
Daniel was thrown into the lions' den, but the lions were stuck in front of him. The devil is an old tiger with missing teeth. Don't be afraid of the devil's cry, and laugh out loud before the devil. A mouse is twice as fast as a cat, so a cat cannot catch a mouse under natural conditions, but when a cat appears, the mouse is stuck and eventually caught just by looking at the cat's eyes. As such, the saints have the authority to immobilize Satan the devil like a mouse. If the saints are afraid and do not fall down in advance, the devil can never destroy the saints. Do not be afraid of any devil or any circumstance, and live as boldly as Stephen, whose face shone like an angel while being stoned and martyred.
4. Protection
As in the case of Daniel, God sometimes sends angels to protect the saints (verse 22). Angels protect the saints and deliver the voice of God to the saints. The angel's voice often comes indirectly. One day, for no apparent reason, the husband becomes irritable and his face becomes strange. Then someone speaks out loud. “Satan the devil has entered my husband!” Of course, it can be interpreted self-centeredly as having a devil in her husband, but sometimes God uses her husband as an angel calling for ‘my repentance’ through the situation. If you listen carefully to God's voice from people and circumstances, you will receive the strongest safety plate in your life.
