Sermons for Preaching

Title: Fear not, for I am with you.

Contents The year 2005 has begun, but the economy and politics are really dark. The situation of our country today is like a four-sided thatched house with the Egyptian army following behind and the Red Sea in front. In this situation, God spoke.

“Do not be afraid! I am with you.”

Whose word? It is the Word of God, the ruler of history. These are the words of God the Creator who created me, redeemed me, and called me by name. The reason people are afraid is because of their fear of the future. I am afraid because I know what will happen, but I do not have the capacity to handle it. This is a true story that actually happened in America. My wife's eyesight got worse and she lost her sight. After that, my husband made me go to work every day. Then one day I told my wife to go to work alone. I was commuting to and from work with my cane on and falling over. One day, many years later, the bus driver said to his wife, 'You have a lot of hallways.' Over the past few years, every day of the year, sitting across from you, watching over you, getting off the bus and making sure you enter the office, and holding your hand until you are out of sight You were waving and standing. God is still watching us with eyes like flames and is with us.

Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

Why are people surprised? When something so terrifying happens, it's surprising when the unimaginable happens over and over again and it seems like something is about to happen. When that happens, don't be too fussy and surprised! I am your God! What do you mean? You are telling me why are you surprised like a fool when I am by your side protecting and protecting you.

I will strengthen you.

If God is for us, who can be against us? Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, sword, height, depth, or any other creature, will bring us into Christ Jesus our Lord. We cannot be separated from the love of God that exists (Romans 8:37-39). God is with us and strengthens us, who can stand against us!

I will help you, yea, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand!

Only the hand of God's power can protect me from all tribulation and adversity. What is Heavenly Father's hand? (1) It is the hand that created the universe. There is no place beyond the reach of a father. (2) It is the hand that keeps us safe. No matter how much a child wants to fall, the Lord's hand is the hand that takes care of us safely, just as a mother cannot fall if she holds her hand. (3) Sometimes that hand is the hand that strikes a loved one. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews, “My son, do not despise the Lord's vigilance, nor lose heart when he rebukes him; for the Lord disciplines those he loves, and scourges every son whom he receives. (4) It is the hand that heals. It is a warm loving hand that heals our body and mind. (5) The hand of God is the hand that rescues us from danger.
