If you ask what the life of a believer is, the answer can be given in various ways.
There will be people who will say that an exemplary life is the true face of a believer.
It could be said that a godly person who always prays is living like a believer.
It can also be said that the life of a believer is a life in which the fruits of faith or the image of service are shown.
These are clearly the images of a good believer.
Of course, you can say something different from this.
Those arguments can also be a good opinion with an expert opinion.
Then, here we need to find out what kind of person a believer looks like a believer, which can be found in the appearance of many great believers in the Bible.
In addition, we should look for the image of a believer that we get from our seniors of faith who have led a good life of faith.
Therefore, this morning, I will try to find out what it is like to live like a true believer while thinking about the good faith that can be found in the Bible and in the ancestors of faith.
1. First of all, the Bible and the ancestors of faith are saying that a believer who lives with a passionate faith is a believer who lives like a believer.
Burning faith.
It is passionate faith.
He is not a warm and lukewarm person, but a person of clear and certain faith.
Those who live by this kind of faith can truly live a life of faith like a believer.
The two disciples on the road to Emmaus mentioned in today's text did not have faith in their hearts.
Although the disciples have spent a lot of time looking at the Lord, hearing His teachings and words, and seeing many miracles and miracles performed by Him, it is not that they did not have a little faith or heart for Him, but it is clear in their hearts. And I didn't have a firm belief.
There was no fervent and passionate faith.
It's not just these two disciples.
Even Peter, Jesus' chief disciple, was such a passionate and hot man, but he was small and lukewarm in his faith.
So, when Jesus was arrested, he became infinitely small, and even the maid became afraid.
However, after meeting the resurrected Lord, his faith grew stronger and Peter lives a life of amazing change.
I became a person who was not afraid of death.
This is because he not only saw the resurrection of the Lord with his own eyes, but also had a burning belief that he would be resurrected again.
They enjoy being persecuted or suffering.
Because I am confident that I will receive a reward.
I became a bold evangelist.
Because there was a clear and sure belief in his heart.
That's right.
A believer who is like a believer is a person with fervent faith.
He is a man of clear and sure faith.
That is why we can live a life of faith passionately.
A person who is not convinced in his heart cannot be clear in his words, actions, or conduct.
It's because you don't have confidence in yourself.
That is why, in the end, these kinds of people live an opportunistic life without self-esteem.
However, a passionate believer who has confidence in his heart lives all his life with confidence.
It is to lead a clear and sure life of faith.
That is why the Bible is calling hot people everywhere.
A Word You Know Well There is also the admonition of the Apostle Paul to serve the Lord with zeal, not slack in diligence.
In his letter to the church in Laodicea, John warned that you are neither cold nor hot; I want you to be cold or hot. Because you are so lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
Also, in 1 Peter 1:22, the apostle Peter exhorted us to love pizza with a burning heart.
You can find the word of God who wants passionate and zealous people in numerous places in the Bible.
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that all of you are living a life of clear faith with such fervent faith.
Anyone still hesitating?
Make a decision now.
It means to live a life of clear and sure faith.
I hope you will decide to live a life of faith that is honest and sure, rather than a life of faith that is opportunistically scrutinized.
If people who have not been able to live a life of fervent faith until now and have envied or thought strange while watching other people fervently lead a religious life are here at this time, I hope that you too will become such fervent believers.
Because only when we live by this kind of faith can we know the true taste of faith and live with the joy of faith.
Ex) A male deacon who followed the prayer center; Started to pray with fear and trembling, meeting the Lord, speaking in tongues, and becoming a person of passion; Kindergarten missionary.
if so
There is one thing we need to know here.
We want to become such passionate believers, but how can we have such faith?
How can I become such a person, a person of fervent faith, and what the Bible says about it.
1. First of all, in your heart, you have a desire to become that kind of person.
You must have a heart.
2. You must experience faith.
3. You must have fellowship with people of strong faith.
4. Continue fellowship with God by studying the Word and praying to keep it warm.
It must be underground.
