Title: Filled with the Holy Spirit
Content There are three types of people in relation to the Holy Spirit.
“People who have not received the Holy Spirit” “People who have received the Holy Spirit” are “People who are filled with the Holy Spirit”.
“The person who has not received the Holy Spirit” is a person who is not directly related to the Holy Spirit and is indifferent to the Holy Spirit and does not know who the Holy Spirit is and what his relationship to the Holy Spirit is. This person is an unbeliever, unsaved, and has never repented of God. He is a servant of sin and a servant of Satan. There is no Holy Spirit in this person.
A “person who has received the Holy Spirit” is a person who realizes that he is a sinner and repents before the living God. The Holy Spirit dwells in this person, and this person is a person who has been saved, a child of God, and a people of the kingdom of heaven.
“A person filled with the Holy Spirit” is a person who has received the Holy Spirit through repentance and faith. You have received the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit dwells in this person. Those who have been saved and those who have become children of God. A person who has become a citizen of heaven. Regarding this fact, there is no difference at all from those who have received the Holy Spirit.
However, “a person filled with the Holy Spirit” is different from a person who has received the Holy Spirit. Let’s look at the contents of “receiving the Holy Spirit” and “filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Receiving the Holy Spirit is a spiritual event that occurs when we repent and believe in Jesus as our Savior. Receiving the Holy Spirit is a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual event. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you do not receive it twice or three times.
The Holy Spirit, who came to my soul once, never leaves my soul and dwells in my soul. Receiving the Holy Spirit cannot be lost. Receiving the Holy Spirit is a one-time spiritual event, and its spiritual effect is eternal. Receiving the Bible is given for the salvation of souls and changes in life.
However, the filling of the Holy Spirit is a spiritual event that takes place in the soul of a Christian who has already received the Holy Spirit. Therefore, only those who have received the Holy Spirit can receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. Of course, when you receive the Holy Spirit, you can immediately experience the filling of the Holy Spirit.
The filling of the Holy Spirit is not concerned with the salvation of the soul, but about the condition of the soul, work, and life. The receiving of the Holy Spirit cannot be lost, but the filling of the Holy Spirit can be lost. It is lost when it is connected with the spiritual, heart, and life crimes.
The filling of the Holy Spirit means the complete possession, dominion, and dominion of the Holy Spirit over those who have received the Bible. Combining the characteristics of those who have received the Holy Spirit and those who are filled with the Holy Spirit, the difference between those who have received the Holy Spirit and those who are filled with the Holy Spirit can be expressed as follows.
“Carnal Christians and Spiritual Christians” “Secular Christians and Evangelical Christians” “Lazy Christians and Loyal Christians” “Weak Christians and Strong Christians” “Cowardly Christians and Courageous Christians” “Unclear Christians and Sure Christians” “Defeating Christians” and victorious Christians” and “selfish Christians and devoted Christians”.
Of course, as a person who has received the Holy Spirit, the believer will have the “spiritual state of receiving the Holy Spirit” and the “spiritual state of being filled with the Holy Spirit” alternately. Let's take a closer look at the difference between a person who has received the Holy Spirit and a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit, the condition of a soul who has received the Holy Spirit and the condition of a soul filled with the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-24 is about the fruit of the Spirit.
“Love,” “Joy,” “Peace,” “Long-suffering,” “Mercy,” “Goodness,” “Loyalty,” “Meekness,” “Temperance.” These fruits were not at all in the hearts of those who received the Holy Spirit. However, when we receive the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit makes these fruits bear fruit for the first time in the heart of the person who has received the Holy Spirit.
However, in the heart of a person filled with the Holy Spirit, He makes these fruits bear abundantly. Taking “love” as an example, when a person receives the Holy Spirit for the first time, a new love that he did not have in his heart before arises. They are love for Jesus, love for the Bible, love for brothers, love for the church, and love for enemies.
However, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, the love of Jesus, the love of the Bible, the love of brothers, the love of the church, and the love of enemies are more profound, certain and strong. The same is true in terms of life.
After you receive the Holy Spirit, you will have a new life that you did not have when you did not receive the Holy Spirit. Worship life, life of doing good for the glory of God, ethical life according to the Word, evangelism life, prayer life, life of gratitude, life of obedience, life of dependence, life of joy, life of service, life of courage, life of loyalty , a life of fellowship, a life of devotion, a life of perseverance, etc.
Even in the new life of those who have received the Holy Spirit, if they do not have the spiritual state of being filled with the Holy Spirit as a person who has received the Holy Spirit, they cannot properly, confidently, powerfully, and beautifully lead these lives.
However, if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you can fully live these new lives as Jesus intended. The Bible commands us.
“But be filled with the Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).
Some people deliberately try to avoid being filled with the Holy Spirit.
All you have to do is believe in Jesus and think about what you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. no. You must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Why do we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
First, to become a “powerful Christian.”
The world is evil. A world armed with Satan and sin is strong. In this world, we must be Christians who overcome, not losers. Because this is the will of Jesus who saved us. To become a Christian who overcomes Satan and a Christian who overcomes sin, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
“Do not get drunk, this is debauchery.” If a Christian loses to the world, he can become a slave to wine, a slave to the pleasures of this world.
To win in the physical world, you need physical strength. You need spiritual strength to win in the spirit world. This power is maximized only in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. I cannot conquer the world with my own strength. We need the power of the Holy Spirit. You must receive the power of the Holy Spirit.
Second, to enjoy the true meaning of believing in Jesus.
You can't just be saved. You must enjoy the meaning of salvation. You can't just be a child of God. You must enjoy the meaning of being a child of God. You can't just have eternal life. You must enjoy the meaning of eternal life. Jesus said.
“I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
It is when we receive the Holy Spirit that we receive life from these words. However, it is when we are in a spiritual state of being filled with the Holy Spirit that we have more abundantly.
You can't just get a life. We must have this life more abundantly. This means enjoying the meaning of life that Jesus gave.
Third, why do we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
It is to do more effectively the work of God that Jesus has given us to do.
Without a heart filled with the Holy Spirit, we cannot do God's work properly.
Evangelism, prayer, preaching, bible study, preaching the word, serving, giving, forgiving, giving, visiting, counseling, praising, giving thanks, persevering ... etc. These God's works entrusted to those who have received the Holy Spirit can only be done more faithfully and humbly with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus incarnate was filled with the Holy Spirit and overcame all temptations of Satan in the wilderness.

This Jesus was the stone rejected by your builders and has become the cornerstone of your house. There is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name given to us by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:8-12).
Just before the martyr's martyrdom, Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and testified of Jesus.
“When Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven, and looked up, and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, he said, “Behold, I see heaven opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God” (Acts 7:55-56).

“Saul, who was called Paul, was filled with the Holy Spirit and looked at him, and said, “You are full of all deceit and evil, child of the devil, enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the way of the Lord? Behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you; He said that he would not see the sun for a while, so immediately fog and darkness covered him, and he looked everywhere for someone to lead him” (Acts 13:9-11).
