Title: Filling of the Holy Spirit

Contents

wednesday worship

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? Acts 2:42 190. Hebrews 11:24-26 366.

If the church is large and has good facilities or if the program is good, it will make the church look like a church. If the church is like the church and the members want to be members, they must receive the Holy Spirit.

The early church was a living church, a church that fulfilled its mission because all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, even though there were little people in a humble building.

It was a church that changed the nation and nation and saved souls.

Last Sunday was celebrated as the Feast of the Pentecost, but the people of God who serve the church, which became the body of the Lord, should not be indifferent to the work of the Holy Spirit or take it lightly.

Neglecting the Holy Spirit leads to secularization.

Secularized individuals and churches are not with God.

Therefore, we who are children of God must be filled with the Holy Spirit.

If so, how can we know the state of being filled with the Holy Spirit?

Read Acts 2:42 together.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.”

We can know through the Word that those who are filled with the Holy Spirit make an effort to pray.

Even if they are the same people of God, if you can see where the saints are interested, you can know whether they are people of the Holy Spirit or people of the world.

Acts 2:42 says, “As they were taught by the apostles, they devoted themselves to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.”

“Only to Pray”

If you do not put effort into prayer, if the fire of prayer is extinguished, you will not be able to live a powerful life even if you have received the Holy Spirit. Eventually, you will lose everything.

If we, God's people, fail in our prayers, everything, including our faith, will inevitably fail one after another.

Because without prayer, one can never experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit. However, if I pray, I can experience that even though I cannot do it because the Holy Spirit works, nothing is impossible because God works.

Look at Acts 2:44.

“All those who believe are together, and all things are in common.”

Look at Acts 2:46.

“Every day, we made every effort to gather together in the temple together, and broke bread at home, and ate food with joy and sincerity of heart”

The members of the early church did their best to gather in the temple every day and worshiped and praised each other while sharing things with one another. Later, he was transformed into a person of mature faith until he was martyred without sparing even his life.

“Every day, we made every effort to gather together in the temple together, and broke bread at home, and ate food with joy and sincerity of heart”

The writer of Hebrews says in Hebrews 10:25, “Let us not refrain from meeting together, as is the habit of some, but exhort us, and all the more as we see the day drawing near.”

If you look at the history of the church, Satan will hinder Christians from gathering. But God's will is to gather.

But even this gathering must never be done with my own strength and will.

We must receive the help of the Holy Spirit, and as long as we are filled with the Holy Spirit, gathering, happiness, and joy will all be fulfilled.

In Hebrews 11:25, there is a word about Moses, and in Hebrews 11:25, Moses said, “He preferred to suffer with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a while.

Then Hebrews 11:26 says, “The reproach of Christ was counted as greater riches than all the treasures of Egypt, because they looked to the reward.”

There is no other reason why Moses chose to suffer with the Israelites. Because they looked to the reward. Moses did not choose the silver and gold treasures in the royal palace, but chose to suffer with God's people.

Everyone! Faith is a choice.

Either you choose the path God wants you to take, or you choose the path that God does not want. But what is clear is that God blesses God's people filled with the Holy Spirit, who trust in God the Holy Spirit, have faith, throw away what is to be thrown away, and know how to get what they want.

Moses considered life for Christ more important than enjoying the world's wealth and glory. Eternal life was more important than enjoying temporary pleasures.

We hope that all the families of Saehan Church will have great faith like Moses and become people of the Holy Spirit who become channels of blessing through the right choices.

The decision to refuse is the decision to reject, and the thing to see is to take off the colored glasses and to look with the eyes of the Spirit wide open as a man of the Holy Spirit. That is, the wisdom and understanding to look at the whole forest, not just one tree (this is also true, Lord I pray in the name of the Lord that the whole family of Saehan Church will live with the right faith as people of the Lord.
