Title: First Blessing
Contents
Text: Genesis 1:26-31
God is the source of blessing and the source of life. Therefore, if you draw near to God, you can receive blessings and have eternal life. On the other hand, if we distance ourselves from God and do not keep His Word and command, we will suffer woe and we cannot avoid death.
Deuteronomy 30:15-18 “Behold, I have set before you today life and blessing, death and disaster, that I command you today to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments and ordinances and decrees You will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land to which you are going. But if you turn and do not listen, and are tempted to bow down to other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you will surely perish.” Verse 16 of the above verse says, “You will live and multiply.”
It can be seen that this passage also coincides with today's text.
Verse 28, “And God blessed the man, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth.”
Putting these words together, God created life and
1) The first blessing is “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.” To put it simply, it means “have many children” and “have many children.”
How can I afford it? It is worrying, but if you live your life of faith well, the problem will be solved.
There are many problems in our society these days. Political problems, left-wing problems, labor-management problems, all-teacher problems, morals and sexual ethics problems, economic problems, suicide and murder due to the disregard for life, etc. However, the fertility problem is very serious. At the very least, it overtook Japan to become the country with the lowest fertility rate. It is said that 20-30 years ago, the slogan, “Let’s have only two children without distinguishing between sons and daughters, and raise them well” was said to have dropped the fertility rate to 1.17 because there are no two children now.
2) Let's look at the blessings given to Abraham in the Bible.
His original name was 'Abram', but in Genesis 17:5 it was changed to 'Abraham'. It means “father of the nations.” Genesis 15:5; In 22:17, God said, “I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, and like the grains of sand on the seashore.” God gave Isaac, Esau and Jacob through Isaac, and the 12 sons who became the 12 tribes of Israel through Jacob. And we see that in 400 years, the number of people in the Manjang increased to more than 600,000 and returned to Canaan to establish the nation. Psalm 127:3-5 says, “Children are an inheritance from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. The children of a young man are like arrows in the hand of a merchant; blessed is he who is full of tradition.” May this blessing be yours. As the saying goes, “If you can’t do evangelism, have children.” Christians in this age should have many wonderful children. Muslims in the world have the highest numbers of Muslims growing because children are born from the idea that they are a gift from God. It is scary to think about how this land will change in 50 years if you do not have children because it is difficult to have children.
There are some things we need to fix in order to have children.
① We must abandon celibacy.
Except in unavoidable circumstances, when a person grows up, he must leave his parents and find a partner to establish a family. Living by consensual living and getting married is a wrong trend that ignores the preciousness of the family.
② You should get married early.
Long-term contraception to delay marriage or childbirth is the cause of more than 30% of infertility.
③ Let go of the selfishness of individualism.
The idea that ‘Childless children are the best, and I am the most comfortable’ changed the structure of this society from a pyramid structure with many young people to an inverted triangle structure with many elderly people. This is an unhealthy accident and rescue with no hope for tomorrow.
④ Please reject homosexuality.
God gave Adam a woman because it was not good to be alone. A homosexual person in his 20s who recently enlisted in the military donated blood
