< The Seagull's Dream >
There is a novel called <The Seagull's Dream>. The protagonist of the novel is a seagull named Jonathan Livingston Seagal. That seagull was very different from other seagulls. Whereas the purpose of life for other seagulls was to find food on the beach, Jonathan's purpose was to fly well.
Eventually, the seagull will be branded irresponsible and expelled from the seagull society. In such a reality, what Jonathan grieved the most was not the loneliness, but the attitude of fellow seagulls, who had the ability to fly but tried not to soar. In order to appease the sadness and show that the seagull also has the ability to fly, Jonathan terrifiedly practiced flying and mastered several flying skills.
One day, Jonathan follows a seagull with two silver wings that suddenly appears. When I went there, there were many seagulls who had the same thoughts as me. There, through the teachings of the old seagulls, he learns deeper flight skills. The old seagull teaches the art of flying, giving him a lesson: “Practice love!” Hearing that lesson, Jonathan returns to his old hometown. And the content of the novel is to teach the principle of flying high and a broader perspective to a young seagull who has been banished for taking the same attitude as him.
In fact, to believe is to be Jonathan of human society. Fly high like Jonathan and see far. A saint is a being who has been reborn as a being who can believe in the Lord and take flight. So, try to soar for the glory of God anytime, anywhere. The purpose of life is not to find food, but to fly toward God.
< Seeing far when flying high >
The time to worship and pray is the time to learn to live a life of leaps and bounds. However, many saints do not have the courage to take flight. There seems to be faith, but it seems that there is not much to live by faith. If you don't spread your wings and fly, faith cannot grow, but if you spread your wings of faith and obedience and try to take flight every day, a new level of life will begin and the joy and worth of your soul will overflow. So Jonathan the Seagull makes a famous saying. “He who flies the highest sees farthest.”
When you fly high, you can throw away the world's lusts and enjoy real freedom. Which will redeem the high-flying soul? The cares, worries, bondage, or even death of the world cannot bind him. A high wall that cannot be passed through at your own eye level is nothing when viewed from high in the sky. If you look at suffering and sorrow through the eyes of the world, it is painful, but if you spread your wings and go up to a high place and look down, it looks like a beautiful world, and you can see the hope of tomorrow in it.
Where did Jonathan the Seagull's reward come from? It was because I practiced hard with the goal of flying rather than eating. Of course, I failed many times while practicing at first, but with continued practice, I eventually learned to fly well. Likewise, the flight of the soul is not easy. Even now, from time to time, numerous circumstances prevent the flight of the soul. At that time, do not fall into discouragement and despair, but try to climb high again and see far away. Then God will add strength to your wings so that you can finally taste the wonderful world of God from a high place.
Ultimately, to seek the things above means to walk with Christ above (verse 1). No matter how difficult it is, if you think that you are with Christ, there is nothing that makes your soul fuller and stronger than that fact.

As such, the saints are beings who have the amazing person of Jesus. Therefore, anyone who walks with Jesus must have a smile that no one can take away, leisure, and the joy of life. There is no need to be discouraged. Because if there is the Lord, you have everything.
It's better to have a pot without it. This is because the Lord shines more brightly. It is also because God's will and dreams will come true more wonderfully through him when he becomes a being through a process that is not there. So don't think you're too short. For those who walk with God, there is no life lacking or a life that is over. God is a God who always grants new second opportunities. With that God, anyone can become a hopeful being.
