Title: Follow Jesus

Contents

Let's follow Jesus

(2006.08.06. Week) (John 12:26) (Hymns: 269,387,514)

People need to know their worth.

Looking at a puppy that just came out of the hairdresser's hairdresser - is that dog better than a human?

Oops, my seller is worse than a dog seller? - Are human beings really worse than dogs?

How much do you value yourself?

(Genesis 1:26) - "And God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over all that creeps on the earth."

Do not forget that man is a great being who has authority over the sea, the sky, the earth, and all that is there.

Please do not forget that we are the only beings that resemble the image of God.

The subordinate follows the superior, and the servant follows the master.

How absurd would it be if a superior followed his subordinates in fear, or if the master feared and followed his servants?

But in reality, there are countless absurd things that the master follows the servant.

1. Let's not become a failure to serve creation.

Who is the greatest creature in the world? - As revealed in (Genesis 1:26), all creatures in the sea, heaven, and earth were created to be ruled by man.

Man has received authority from God to subdue and rule over these things.

There are many people in the world who are unaware of this grim fact - who worship the sun, moon, or stars.

There are many people who serve tigers, elephants, and cattle. Many even worship snakes.

How stupid are you?

It is like a prince serving a eunuch, a master serving a slave, and a superior supporting his subordinates.

Exodus 20:5 warns that those who serve creation will be punished for their sins until the third and fourth generations.

It is an act of disregard for the order of creation for a person who is the chief of creation to serve a lesser creature. It is an act of ignoring the Creator - so God the Creator is angry. So you get punished.

2. Let's not become failures who only follow material things

There are many things that people need to live in the world.

You must have something to eat. You must have something to wear. It was enough for primitive people to have only food and clothing, but as civilization developed, there were many other things they needed besides food and clothing.

So you have to earn a lot of money. - Dear saints, if possible, I pray that you will not be poor and become rich.

However, wealth should be used when necessary, not wealth. Wealth should not be the master. If you live in the world as a materialistic master, you will become a failure.

If you sin because of money, you are invalid because of money, and if you are pointed at because of money, then that person is a failure.

*Look at King Ahab - He tried to make Naboth's vineyard near the king's palace his own, but failed to negotiate and killed Naboth - King Ahab was ruined for his sin (1 Kings 16:29-33) - He was destroyed because of greed for wealth. .

*Look at Judas Iscariot - Blinded for 30 silver coins, he sold Jesus and ate him. He committed suicide without repentance and was thrown into hell.

Material is necessary for living, but material should not be the master. If you serve material things and follow only material things, you will be a failure.

People who lie for money, kill contracts for money, betray for money, and conscience-stricken people with bribes all fail. - Do not serve money, but manage money.

3. Let's not become failures who only follow honor or authority.

*In Israel, King Saul had already ascended to the throne - but what if the throne was taken away? He was always anxious, so he was always wary of his son-in-law, David, and tried to kill him several times, but God hated him.

*Look at King David's son Absalom - What is his honor and what is his authority - He rebelled to become a king and became a scoundrel who wanted to kill his father - In the end, he did not become king and died at a young age.

* Even though Pilate knew that Jesus was innocent - he was afraid of losing his seat as governor, so he ordered Jesus to be killed and became a sinner for a long time.

*What is honor, paying money to buy a fake doctorate, copying and publishing a dissertation for a student - how many people are embarrassed by being found out? - Honor must follow people. If people pursue honor, they will perish.

4. Let's not become failures following the devil.

*Saul didn't always want to kill David. Then, when the evil spirit took over the mind, it suddenly turned into a demon.

*Eve was also deceived by the devil to eat of the forbidden fruit.

*The reason why Judas Iscariot sold Jesus was because the devil captured Judas' heart and attracted him.

*When the devil tempts you, grabs you and drags you - You must know how to say No. - If you cannot resist the devil and are dragged around, you will become a failure. - Where is the devil's home? The devil's home is Hell. - If you follow the devil, you will eventually go to hell.

5. Follow Jesus alone.

Let us not serve creation. Don't follow money. Let's not get caught up in the lust for fame and lust for power. If you follow the devil, you will be eternally destroyed. - Who should we follow?

No matter how supreme creatures we may be - it is God who created man.

Jesus is the one who came into the world as a human being. Blessed are those who only follow Jesus.

(John 10:10) - Thieves break through the wall to kill - but Jesus came to give life. Those who follow Jesus have eternal life. You will enjoy eternal blessings in the eternal heaven.

(12:26)- ?f anyone wants to serve me, follow me; where I am, there will also be those who serve me; and if a man serves me, my Father will honor him??- Amen!!

*Meet Jesus right before the death of a death row prisoner who had lost all hope in the world - He only said one word to Jesus - ?esus, remember me when you get to heaven??- With that one word, all sins are forgiven - ?oday You will be with me in paradise.??If you serve money, you will perish along with money. If you covet authority, you will perish on the day you lose authority. If you follow the devil, you will perish forever. If you serve Jesus and follow Jesus, you will go to the kingdom of Jesus. That is heaven.

If you serve and follow Jesus, you will receive the crown of eternal life.-Amen

Let's sing a hymn with earnest heart - <Chapter 269: For some reason, my brother>

1. For some reason, my brother, Lord, if you believe, you will also be punished in hell for your sins.

2. For some reason, my brother, you only follow the devil, and when those devils go to hell, you will go too.

3. For some reason, my brother, when you only get riches and the things of the world burn, you will also be burned.

4. For some reason, my brother, I cannot see you suffering endlessly because you are bound by iniquity.

5. Hello, my brethren, come to the Lord, the crucified Lord, I love you.

What do you see in front of your eyes? What are your wishes in your heart? What are you greedy for? - Is it money? Is it honor? no. The devil is even worse - just follow Jesus. If you want to receive Jesus in the kingdom of heaven where Jesus is, I pray that you follow only Jesus.
