Title: For Abundant Fruits
Contents
It is a bountiful autumn. Autumn is the season of fruit. The golden wave that announces a bountiful harvest in the fields enriches the heart in the face of winter. I hope that your life will also be fruitful during the prosperous season. Jesus said that only when the fruit is abundant, God can be glorified and we can become disciples of Jesus Christ. (John 15:8) Again this year, the fruits of evangelism that saves souls abound, so that God can be glorified, and all of you are Jesus Christ. Please become the key disciples of
1. In order to reap abundant fruit, we must sow more than anything else.
He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2 Corinthians 9:6) Those who want to reap without sowing are wicked and lazy people. In Jesus Christ's parable of the talents, the person who received 5 talents left 5 talents, and the person who received 2 talents also left 2 talents and was praised by the master. However, the person who received the 1 talent was rebuked because he just buried it in the ground and gave it to the master as it is. Cast out this useless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. If you sow the seeds of the gospel, you will surely bear the fruits of life and blessings. Dear brothers and sisters, above all else, I hope that you sow the seeds of the gospel in your neighbors. Even if you spray, please spray a lot.
2. It takes a lot of hard work to reap abundant fruits.
2 Timothy 2:6 says, “The toiling farmer ought to receive the grain first.” Psalm 126:5-6 says, “Those who sow in tears will reap with joy. Whoever goes out weeping to sow seed will surely return with joy, carrying the sheaf.” You cannot expect a bountiful harvest in the fall without the sweaty labor of the farmer sowing, watering, weeding, and so on. A bountiful harvest cannot be expected without much effort in planting seeds and cultivating them. The Apostle Paul suffered so many pains and sufferings beyond our imagining for the salvation of one person's soul (2 Corinthians 11:23). I hope you will become believers who reap abundant fruits of salvation for souls through your hard work.
3. In order to reap abundant fruit, we must wait for the right time.
In the last verse of today's text, "(Galatians 6:9) Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we are not weary." James 5:7 says, “Be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient with it, waiting for the early rain and the latter rain.” It is common in the world to not reap what you sow. If we do good things, we will surely get good results. But no one knows when that will be. If you stop in the middle, you will not reap any fruit. To be patient, we need to have persevering faith. God is the One who reaps what you sow. Don't be afraid of the rain and the wind, work hard and spray as much as you can. When you have finished your work, you will reap the sheaf with joy.
