Title: For greater faith / Revelation 3:14-22
Content I. Let's make the colors clear (14-16)
In order to have greater faith, you must clarify the color of your faith. In particular, the color of a believer is revealed through his or her actions.
Therefore, the color of the act of faith must be clear. Faith that is neither cold nor hot, that is, lukewarm faith, is a form of faith that can only be thrown out. Wherever you are, under any circumstance, you must make your color clear.
Even if the current trend or environment of the present age fades our faith and gives us the color of double faith that is different from the outside and inside, we must live with the color that God wants us to clearly show.
II. Let go of spiritual satiety (17-18).
One of the biggest causes of religious regression and confusion is spiritual satiety. Because I am rich and wealthy, I am mistaken for not wanting anything.
As a result, they do not know the wretched, the pitiful, the poor, the blind, and the naked. It is a self-delusion and an act of self-deception.
Therefore, if you are caught up in spiritual satiety, you cannot advance toward greater faith. You have to learn to be self-sufficient when it comes to worldly things. However, we are always lacking in spiritual things, so we must have a thirst.
Ⅲ. Let's be zealous. (19-22)
A person who works hard no matter what he does can lead a successful life. Because zeal is the foundation of all life. The same goes for faith.
Faith with zeal. That is the driving force to have great faith in God. There is nothing more beautiful and noble than the holy passion of true zeal.
It should not be the excitement of being intoxicated with one's own feelings, but the holy zeal given by the love of God whom I have in my heart.
