Title: For the Gospel
All the church members who knew this joined forces to stop Paul. But Paul knew that those prophecies of the Holy Spirit were not meant to keep him from going to Jerusalem. What made Paul go to Jerusalem where tribulation and persecution await? First, he had pity for souls, and second, because of the mission he had in his heart.
When the apostle first met Jesus Christ, it was a great shock in his life. His prejudices and misunderstandings of the Old Testament were all destroyed in an instant, and he was able to recognize himself as the greatest, vicious, and persecutor among sinners. However, grace came not only with grace, but also with mission. God's grace must have a mission. Its mission is none other than to share the Jesus Christ I met with countless people. Therefore, the absence of the ardent passion for the soul in our hearts is proof of how turbid our lives are.
God's amazing love was not limited to the apostles. God has given us a lot of love and a lot of knowledge that others do not know, and He poured out His grace. And that was because he wanted the gospel to be preached. What reward will we have in the last days if we do not work to save souls and spread the gospel?
We are called to bring the gospel of Christ to this suffering world. Today, Jesus Christ especially walks with these people. We desperately need people like Paul who were prepared not only to be bound but also to die in Jerusalem.
Like Paul's confession, I pray that the Lord will spread the wide love of Jesus until our tongues are hardened, and we pray that you will become members of the Holy Family who devote themselves to the life of preaching the gospel of Jesus until the blood in our hearts stops.
