Title: Fragrant Sacrifice 15.hwp
1. Fragrant Sacrifice (1-10)-It refers to the sacrifices that Israel had to keep in Canaan.
Not all sacrifices offered to God can be sacrificial. Some offerings are rejected by him. It is the same with the prayers, offerings, and prayers offered by the saints. So, whether we make a gift or any prayer or supplication, we should try to make it acceptable to Him. Since we are in God's covenant, we must keep that covenant.
2. Sacrifice without discrimination (11-16) - The text says that all discrimination is eradicated in God.
In the human community, there are various kinds of discrimination, such as gender discrimination, discrimination between the rich and the poor, discrimination between the old and the young, discrimination between races, languages, and ethnic groups, and discrimination based on color or custom , but in God, there is no discrimination in any form. does not exist.
3. Stay away from sin (17-31) - The text warns us to keep away from sin.
A person everyone hates, including things that harm and cause harm to themselves. I tend to stay away from things I dislike. The strange thing, however, is that most of them are not so thorough with regard to sin. What we really hate and shun is everything that has the name of sin. There are some people who are close to poisonous snakes. they are landowners However, since we do not have the power to hold on to sin, to draw near to it is to bring misfortune.
(1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins.
He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
4. Sabbath ordinances (31-42). Since the text shows how to punish those who break the Sabbath, it teaches us what attitude we should take toward those ordinances.
All the days and things that God has set apart, including the people whom God has set apart, are holy and special. Therefore, all those who are under His covenant should respect those ordinances, avoid breaking them, and be careful.
The crime of one individual in the community of the church affects the whole community and causes fear.
We must thoroughly eliminate sin-related things in ourselves and in our community. That way, your communication with God will not be hindered.
