Title: From This World to Another World
Contents
The first person in this world to follow Jesus into the other world is a sinner who was crucified with Jesus. This sinner is a descendant of Abraham, to whom the people of this world belong together. A descendant of Abraham is a born-again man of two origins, of whom Abraham belonged together.
This man is a descendant of Abraham, who will enter a better homeland than the kingdoms of this world, who will look to the other world in heaven and enter it. Therefore, God brought this descendant of Abraham to his beloved son, Jesus Christ, who belongs to the flesh and blood, to be with him in Paradise on that very day.
It was written, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:42-43).
God sent his son into this world as a descendant of Abraham only to take the descendants of Abraham and to transfer them from this world of sin and death to the other world of the Spirit of life. As he testified, "Children are of flesh and blood, and he also belongs to flesh and blood in one way, to put away those who have taken over the power of death through death, the devil, and all those who are in bondage through life because they fear death. to release him, not really to sustain the angels, but to sustain the offspring of Abraham. Therefore, in all respects, he deserved to be made like his brothers, who became a merciful and faithful high priest in the work of God, making atonement for the sins of the people. It is the same as the written words” (Hebrews 2:14-17). This is God's will.
It is written, "The law is a shadow of the good things to come and is not the true image, so that those who come to it cannot be made perfect at any time by the same sacrifices offered year by year. Otherwise, those who serve will be cleansed once and for all, and sin again. How could he not have ceased to offer, since there was no understanding? But these sacrifices are a reminder of sin year after year, for the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sin. Therefore, when he came into the world, God said: You did not want me, but you have prepared a body for me. You have no pleasure in burnt offerings and sin offerings as a whole. So I said, Behold, God, I have come to do your will, as it is written about me in the scroll. He said above, “You have no desire or pleasure in sacrifices, offerings, whole burnt offerings, and sin offerings (they are all offered according to the law).” Then He said, “Look, I have come to do your will.” The first thing was abolished so that the second might be established” (Hebrews 10:1-9).
Therefore, he testified, “Jesus said, ‘You are from below, and I am from above; you are of this world, and I am not of this world’ (John 8:23). He who hates his life in the world will keep it to eternal life” (John 12:25).
Not only this, but when it comes to laying down one's life in order to gain it, "Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world, but if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight would not have been handed over to the fields, but my kingdom does not belong to this anymore” (John 18:36).
If you are not a descendant of Abraham, you will not receive God's love even if God loved you. This is because only the descendants of Abraham can receive the love of the father because the children of God belong to the same blood and flesh. Therefore, Jesus, the descendant of Abraham, who belonged to us by blood, testified, “The Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it again” (John 10:17), and again, “Before the Passover, Jesus He knew that the hour had come for him to return to the Father, and he loved his own who were in the world, but he loved them to the end” (John 13:1).
Therefore, the descendants of Abraham who belonged by blood, who was called John, said, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, for everything in the world The lust of God and the pride of life; all do not come from the Father, but from the world. The world and its lusts pass away, but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:15-17). will be Amen, thank you Lord.
