Title: Fruit-bearing workers (John 15:1-8)
Content The fruit is the ultimate goal that the farmer awaits.
When God calls us to be workers, he expects fruit.
The text teaches us how to bear fruit rightly as a group.
1. Branches should be removed. (2)
“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, the Father takes away it; and every branch that bears fruit He purifies so that it may bear more fruit.”
Thinning and pruning for good fruit.1) Know and select the branch to be pruned first.
Habits or gatherings that most hinder your religious life,
Attributes that hinder religious life the most - laziness, anger, greed, etc.
2) Make a decision and action (with daring courage) to get rid of the branches.
An indecisive person cannot prune.
Gyereuk - The more you can't make a decision, the more wandering and conflict between the world and God will increase.
Fruit cannot be expected. (You waste time, you don't get time.)
2. It must be attached to the vine (4-5).
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you are in me. I am the vine, and you are the branches. This man bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
If you lose your connection with Jesus, you cannot bear fruit.
No matter how thick a tree is, it dries quickly when its roots are cut off.
No matter how fresh a flower is, it will soon wither when there is only a branch without a stem or root.1) The connection must not be broken through prayer.
2) The connection must be continued by growing through the Word and obeying the Holy Spirit.
3. Do not give up and be faithful in faith until the end (1).
“I am the true vine, and my father is the farmer.”
The most important secret to bearing fruit is not to give up until it bears fruit.
The secret to not giving up like this is also faith.
Absolute trust and faith in God is what makes us persevere and loyal.
Those with weak faith or doubts give up easily and cannot bear fruit.
Those who do not give up in faith and are faithful until the end will receive fruit and be praised.
