Title (II) Fruits of Autumn (James 5:7-11)
Contents
I want to give you great grace when you testify about what enlightenment is to our members through the fruit of autumn in this time as well as the previous time.
“The Fruit of Patience”
“Fruitful fruit that brings you reward”
① The fruits of autumn are realizing the truth of rewarding. ② If you plow the field from spring, sow seeds, fertilize, weed, sweat, put effort, and invest in agricultural expenses, there will surely be a reward in the fall. How foolish would this be without it? ③ Jesus completed the worthwhile work of salvation for all people by enduring the sufferings and sacrifices of life and death on the cross, and he became the recipient of eternal glory (Philippians 2:5-11). ④ Paul also said to the members of the Philippian Church, who are revival and growing through prayer and devotion with blood, sweat and tears, “Therefore, my brothers whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, my beloved, stand in the Lord likewise” (Philippians 4:1). expressed satisfaction with the reward of ⑤ The sanctified salvation achieved by the saints in reality is worthwhile to receive complete and eternal happiness.
“Fruit that bears fruit with the leaves”
① The colorful and beautiful autumn leaves remind us to live life to become a beautiful old age. ② In Proverbs 16:31, “Gray hair is a crown of glory, and will be found in the path of righteousness” ③ Living in the path of righteousness means “Our outward man perishes, but our inward man is being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). As the Word says, when a believer walks step by step on the path of life, his “functions of the mind,” “functions of the body,” “functions of the mouth,” “possessing,” are spirit, life, and the word of eternal life (John 6:63, 68). It is written in obedience to the truth, and it is to live as one who achieves salvation through self-discipline. ④ If we live like this, our youth will be better than our youth than our youth, our old age will be better than our adulthood, and we will be glorified and enter the kingdom of heaven. ⑤ Be a blessed and glorious longevity, not a profane old-timer.
“Fruitful fruits awaiting threshing”
① We are reminded that the fruits of autumn should become grains that pass the judgment of God. ②“He will take the helm in his hand and clear his threshing floor, gathering the wheat into the barn, and burning the chaff with unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:10-12) ③ The fruits of autumn are the winter of death and the wheat and chaff Gari heralds the coming judgment of threshing. ④ Have you been preparing for winter, preparing to die, and preparing to pass the judgment seat? Let's check it all the time and make good sanctification of ourselves so that we can make grains that will fit into the granary of heaven. ⑤ The human Jesus who made these preparations completely before death said, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified” (John 12:23), and Paul said, “For me the crown of righteousness is prepared” (2 Timothy 4:8). .
