◎ Text summary and background
The situation in the church in Corinth was ethically very dizzy. Those who came to Paul told him about the moral corruption of the Corinthian church. The moral corruption of the Corinthian church plagued Christians from the beginning. Paul warns not to associate with fornicators because he knew the corruption and moral corruption in Corinth (5:10). To escape from moral depravity, we must do spiritual things, and that is evangelism. Evangelism is the Lord's great command. Evangelism is something that those who have received evangelism must do it. What must we do to bear the fruit of evangelism?
1. You must know the principle of evangelism.
1) Evangelism must not be done with the wisdom of words.(1)
2) By the power of the Holy Spirit (4)
After Paul met the Lord on the road to Damascus, he gave his life in the midst of the guidance and work of the Holy Spirit, and the Lord held on to Paul and began to work. The history he recorded and lived records the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When Paul realized that he was nothing in the sight of God and had nothing to do with anger, he was proud of only Jesus. But strangely, God picked him up and used him as an instrument of God. So he was determined to keep only the knowledge of Jesus.
2. The Appearance of Evangelism
1) Soul salvation
Evangelism is a spiritual work that saves the soul. This is what the devil hates the most. Because they lose their subordinates. That is why it sometimes brings chaos in the family of the evangelist. If you persevere, God will grant you better circumstances and conditions.
2) There is joy.
We feel grateful and rewarded when the person who bore fruit from the previous letter does the Lord's work harder than I do. This is the Lord's heart and the farmer's heart.
3. Help me to save more souls (dedicated commitment)
While looking at us, the Lord is looking for workers, saying that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers for the harvest are not enough. The Lord wants us to be workers, but what will the Lord say if we don't fulfill the mission entrusted to us by neglecting us? The Lord is still looking for workers today. May you all be harvest workers.
