Title - Future-Oriented Life
Although the church exists in this world and is active there, it is the only institution that is absolutely separate from the world.
The members of the church are holy men, called of Christ, and made his property in the world.
Therefore, the church should try to live a holy life by excluding all worldly elements.
The Bible warns that friendship with the world is enmity with God.
If the church does not accept the elements that are not evangelical and unrighteous, or if the church does not actively strive to be awake and spiritually armed, it will inevitably lead to a serious crisis.
The tendencies of quantityism and commercialism, which are infiltrating the church these days, are secular elements of concern, and we must constantly try to reform them.
The secularization of the church means the loss of its original authority and power.
Yehwa - A relationship that never changes
The book <Future Shock> says that in a little while, the industry selling human accessories will develop.
It means that factories that make plastic or steel stomachs, eyes, and hearts will be created.
There will also be factories that make humans.
It is said that in the future, a man and a woman will not get married and give birth to a baby, but the time will come when a couple who wants a baby will come and pick it up as they like after taking sperm from a man and an egg from a woman to make a fertilized egg.
It is said that the industry that takes care of young children for a certain period of time will also develop.
Also, the concept of marriage will disappear.
Not only that.
It is said that a drug that synthesizes human emotions will be developed, and a drug that will make you smile from morning to evening and a drug that will make you growl all day long.
That way, we could even create a religious concept.
You could make a human robot, or even make a complete copy of a human.
Also, an energy revolution could happen, shutting off magnetism, causing houses to float in the air and people to float.
What does this mean?
It is a story of awakening from the bottom up all the things we were thinking about, such as the way of thinking, the concept of a book, and the moral consciousness.
But there are things that do not change.
Even if our morals change, our way of thinking changes, and everything changes, one thing remains constant: our relationship with Jesus.
Human beings forever need salvation before God, need Jesus, and need love.
You need to be forgiven of your sins and you need to become a child of God.
1. Toward the Kingdom of God
One of the distinguishing characteristics of the church community is that it is oriented toward the kingdom of God.
Of course, many religions are talking about the afterlife, but this is not what the gospel proclaims.
The afterlife they claim is only hell after all.
Heaven is the ultimate destination we must reach.
Fighting the good fight, keeping our faith, and striving to walk in the right way are ultimately to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, our fight is not aimlessly hitting the air, but rather has a clear purpose.
It is problematic for the church to be overly afterlife oriented, but we must put the ultimate goal of faith there.
A sanctified life and a sense of responsibility to the world are incidental to this foundation.
Yehwa-Excellent Planning
Rather than view the tragedy in an individual's life as God's discipline unconditionally, we should be able to grasp it through spiritual filters.
A person like Johnny Irexson Tada gives us vivid evidence of God's superior plan in the midst of misfortune.
Johnny's life is turned upside down one summer afternoon when she was still a young teenager.
She was crippled in the blink of an eye as she jumped into the shallow pool water.
There was little hope for the girl, who had spent months in the hospital in despair, contemplating an uncertain future.
“Why did God let this happen to me?”
The endless question never left her lips day and night.
But the girl's faith in God's love for her gradually began to overcome those pains and bitter questions.
In the years that followed, the girl developed an amazing ability to draw with a brush with her teeth.
The girl's heart toward God grew rapidly, and the work of evangelizing millions of people began.
It was indeed the result of evangelism that was born and grew out of tragedy.
2. Maintaining Joy and Peace
Some have said that hope is a new will and courage.
A person with hope, a person with a goal to reach, can positively accept the current poor conditions.
The root cause of so many people's despair is that they don't see a goal to reach.
Conversely, the reason why the saints can maintain joy and peace in the face of various difficult situations is because they have a firm hope.
The church possesses a spiritual peace and joy that the world does not know, and these values are incomparable to anything in the world.
The Bible says it comes from the Lord.
So, those who possess this joy, those who have this peace in their hearts, are not affected by environmental factors at all.
We should not understand the church only as a place where people gather to worship, or as a community of believers by developing it to the next level.
The church is a special institution closely related to the kingdom of God.
The biblical teaching that the head of the church is Christ and its members are people who have acquired citizenship in the kingdom of God testifies that our perception of the church needs to change.
The Church is based on a completely different authority than other religious groups, and its standards of values are also different.
Therefore, the goal you are aiming for must also be different.
