10. The LORD wants him to be bruised, so that he should be afflicted; when he brings his soul as a trespass offering, he will see seed, and his days will be long, and his hand will do the will of the LORD.
11. He will see the toil of his soul and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by his knowledge, and he will bear their iniquities.
12. Therefore I will make him share his share with the noble, and share the spoil with the strong, for he has given up his soul to death, and is numbered among the transgressors; yet he bears the sins of many. I prayed for criminals.

21. From that time on Jesus Christ began to show his disciples that he must go up to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised on the third day.
22. Peter seized Jesus and pleaded with him, saying, "Not so, Lord, for this will never happen to you."
23. Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan, you are a stumbling block to me, for you do not think about the things of God, but the things of men.”
24. Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
25. Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
26. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? What will a man give in exchange for his life?
27. The Son of Man comes with his angels in the glory of his Father, and at that time he will repay each one according to his works
28. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will see the Son of Man come in his kingship before they die.

Title: Gain with Loss
Text: Isaiah 53:10-12, Matthew 16:21-28
This is the next word. “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). The twelve disciples have already followed the Lord. I gave up my job to follow the Lord. The home was also abandoned. But now, he says that we must also throw away our self. 1) He tells you to deny yourself. He tells him to say ‘No’ to himself and ‘Yes’ to God. It is self-exit. 2) He bears the cross. It means to bear the burden of sacrifice. Luke added the expression “daily” (Luke 9:23). 3) Follow Jesus. It is, of course, complete obedience. He commands us to follow only the Lord whenever and wherever we are in our words and actions. So being a Christian is a huge challenge. This is because each disciple must abide by this condition.
‘Losing to gain’ and ‘Greating to receive’ are the order of life in which there is no choice. It is the same truth as ‘when the night goes, the day comes’. “A kind person” means that he could have been a cruel person. While savoring the hymn of love (1 Corinthians 13), try to think of the phrase ‘a man who almost became Saint Judas’. These are the expressions of a failed life. These are the results of ‘I could have endured it for a long time~ I could have been meek~’ (7 kinds) and ‘I couldn’t be speculative~ I shouldn’t have boasted’ (8 kinds). Choice is an issue. It is our freedom to choose one of the two paths. In every choice there are opportunities and risks. If you choose the low life, you lose the high life. There is no such thing as life sustaining (延命) in the Christian life. True life follows the cosmic order. Living in moments of peace of mind, joy of heart, and emotion.
The religion of the cross and resurrection is a launch for eternity. It's an emergency. The ‘life’ that Jesus spoke of (Matthew 16:25,26) is of low level and high level. You have to let go of the low level to reach the high level. “Eternal life,” the grace of salvation, is the true life available only to Christians (John 3:16; 10:10). There is no value that can be exchanged for the true life given in this way. There is a saying, “A faithful friend and a disciplined soul cannot be bought with a price.” The salvation and eternity gained through the death of the Son of God are irreplaceable (Isaiah 53:10-12). The love song of the world and the love song of Christians are different. Because it is a song that is sung with the grace of heaven in your heart. Because the song of the earth sings of the unsolved sorrow, the Christian song sings of the unsolved sorrow.
