Title: Give thanks (Psalm 136:1)
thank you
Psalm 136:1 4
An autobiography written by a man named Zig Zigler looking back on his life at the age of 75 became a bestseller. At the end of the autobiography, at the end of the book, these are the last words to organize his life: "Everything was nothing but gratitude. It was a life that had nothing to say but gratitude."
How many of us do you think, at the end of our lives, can we say these words? At the very least, when we reach the end of our lives, we will be happy if we can look back on our lives and confess that everything is God's grace. Also, I would be even happier if I could especially thank my family, saying, "He was a precious companion who made me really happy." Then, when I think of my neighbors, how wonderful it would be if I could conclude my life with gratitude, saying, "All the people I met during my life were really nice people. They are really nice people to me."
Everyone, in the end, think about where your success lies in life. It's not that I had a lot, learned a lot, or enjoyed power. The question is how much and how much to be grateful. Check your life. How full of gratitude am I living, and how can I end my life in this way?
Gratitude and resentment are both highly contagious. If I give thanks, my son will be thankful, and his son will learn to be thankful.
An ignorant Jewish mother with little or no education raised her children brilliantly. It is said that he always taught three things as to where the secret was. One was to be thankful for everything. Whether it's a small thing or a big thing, just always be grateful. The second was a warning not to play with people who complained. The third was to make friends with the person you are grateful for. In these three words, it is the story of raising children wonderfully.
Guys, who can be thankful for? If we want to know and be grateful today, we need to think about where it comes from.
First, gratitude starts with knowing what you have received. To know that you have received is to know the grace you have given. It's definitely something to be grateful for when you receive it. So it is important to know what you have received. There is no appreciation for what you win. This is a really important reason why communism is going down. Without gratitude, it perishes. What gratitude do you have for what you stole?
The second gratitude comes from enlightenment. Let's think about it. Just because you got a lot doesn't mean you're grateful. It is to be grateful only for the part that you realize exactly. No matter how rich you are, you have nothing to give to God. On the other hand, to people, he seems to be a so-called ignorant person, but what he presents before God is always abundant. What's the difference? Enlightenment is the problem. So it is said that gratitude is not in possession, but in realization. It seems that how much you realize God's grace will lead to the person's gratitude.
If you look at today's text, you will find special parts that we need to realize. It tells us to realize and give thanks to God for His goodness and mercy. It tells us to realize and give thanks to God's power and greatness. If you think about it with common sense, you can't be thankful for things that have no future under any good circumstances. Common sense is that we can never be thankful in the uncertainty of the future. But now, beyond common sense, I see it as a religious one. The strange thing is that the moment of gratitude opens the future. When you first give thanks, you build trust. If we are believers today, we need to know that the way from the present to the future is opened in thanksgiving. That is why, wherever there are Christians who live with the hope for the future, not those who live by reality today, gratitude should always come first.
Everyone, the gratitude of me alone makes the future of the family visible. The gratitude of us believers can change a nation. Auditing is a priority, not an option. In other words, it is the fact that if you give thanks first, then the result will always be the result of gratitude.
Dead fish smell more fishy than live fish. The reason is a substance called [trimethylamine], which is produced when fish loses freshness. And mackerel is one of the fish that has a very fishy smell. Fatty acids give me a fishy taste. To get rid of these fatty acids, you can cook them with plenty of protein-rich foods, such as potatoes. It is said that if you put dried anchovies in a frying pan or pot and fry them once to a slightly dry state, then there is no characteristic fishy smell. It is said that when making the soup, boil it with cold water, and once it boils, reduce the heat and boil for a while with the lid open.
The world we live in today is polluted with various complaints and resentments. Even we should not be allowed to smell more polluted. So, what are we doing to get rid of polluted odors in the world? If our prayers, praises, and worship remove the fishy smell of the world, please quietly consider whether you are making such efforts every day. Especially if gratitude can wash away all this pollution, how can we not be grateful today?
Dear saints!
Today, on Thanksgiving Day, we stand before God. Are you living your life without giving thanks, and are you reluctantly giving thanks because it is Thanksgiving? Or is it to greet the season of thanksgiving while always living with gratitude?
First of all, we want our lives to be lived by realizing God's grace and always giving thanks.
