give us more faith
(Hab 3:17-18; Hebrews 11:1-12)
Everyone lives by faith.(...) Then, what is the difference between the faith of the world and the faith of Christians? The world believes in things and believes in themselves. But we Christians believe in a living Heavenly Father.(...)
It is not 'faith' but 'superstition' to believe unconditionally even if there is no evidence and it is not true. All of us and the Christians in this land who prayed for his safe return were shocked.(...) Why did the Lord ignore the prayers of so many saints and let Kim Seon-il die?(...) Faith when will it be revealed? (...) It is the time when tribulation and storms arise. (...) When tribulation and trials come, it is the time to increase my faith. Standing upright is an opportunity for a new life.(...)
Faith is building up.(...) Faith is an attitude toward God.(...) Augustine said 'before God (Coram Deo)' and Paul said 'in Christ'. (...)
Hot shocks and emotions are sometimes not true faith. Sometimes we mistake our feelings or turbulence for belief. Will or stubbornness is sometimes confused with belief. Some people misunderstand the religious rituals they have become accustomed to as beliefs. You can't mature. True faith is the power to salvation.(...)
Happiness lies not in intellect or possessions, but in faith.(...) Knowledge is good, but if you lose faith because you have gained knowledge, you are miserable. The more money, the better. But if you lose faith by making that money, you are unlucky. It would be sad if you had great success, and your success has made you untrustworthy.
The word of the Bible is God's promise.(...) The word of the Bible is our future.(...) Miracles do not happen in a life that pretends to be smart or ostentatious and rejects the word head-on. If you believe only what you can believe, it is ‘philosophy’. Faith is not believing that fact, but accepting it and obeying it.
Right now we are in a difficult situation inside and out.(...) What can we do? We should pray, “Give us more faith.” Faith in the God who divides the sea and faith in the God who destroys Jericho must be added to us.(...)
“Lord, give us more faith!”
Go forward every day according to God's will. Faith is changing the master of life to God. Use the faith you have now. The ‘frozen shoulder’ is painful whenever it moves, but it is healed only by moving. Add faith to faith. Amen.
