Title: Give What You Have and Live!
If we look at the types of people in terms of sharing, we can classify them into those who always seek help from others, those who neither receive nor give, those who receive as much as they give and those who give as much as they can, and those who want to help if possible. This classification is not fixed and can be changed to this type or that type depending on the environment in which the person is placed, but it can be judged according to the person's overall tendency. What type of person am I mainly?
The Bible tells us to live a life of giving, sharing, and serving. The Bible says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive. Give, and it will be given to you, and I will give it to you, pressed down, shaken, and overflowing. Those who love alms will prosper, and those who nourish others will be refreshed. He even said, “Throw your bread on the water, and in a few days you will come back afterward.”
2. Text story /
After Jesus ascended to heaven, Peter and John, who were filled with the Holy Spirit in Mark's attic, met a crippled beggar sitting in front of the beautiful gate of the temple and begging as they went up to the temple in Jerusalem to preach the gospel.
Peter and John see the beggar and take pity on him. When the beggar sees the two apostles paying attention to him, he has an expectation that he is going to give him something big. The lame beggar wanted money, but the apostles wanted the life cycle. Therefore the Apostle Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk! > And he took his hand and got him up, and immediately his feet and ankles gained strength, and he ran and walked and walked into the temple with the apostles, walking and jumping, praising God. The beggar had already given up on the best and wanted the best help, but the apostle gave the best, not the second best, by the power of Jesus.
3. Illumination for the text /
The direction and understanding of the Word may be different depending on where the main point of the text will be placed, but today, especially < I have no money. But with what I have, I will give you.> I want to meditate on the words of the apostle Peter, focusing on the heart of Peter who lives while giving.
4. Message from the body
one. Pay attention!
When you are full of spirituality, your sensitivity becomes more sensitive. Seeing the universe from a grain of sand, capturing eternity in a moment. We read the signs of the times in the little things, and see inside from the outside. Everyone passes by the crippled beggar sitting in front of the temple. People who just stare at each other, or people who donate work or two thousand won, pass by just like that.
Take a look around! Don't look at it as dryness, put your heart into it and pay attention. Then it starts showing up. It starts to show that many people are living in confusion between the essential and the superficial, and what does that person really need? For those who ask for drugs, the fundamental thing is not drugs, but anti-drug treatment. What is fundamental to a peeing child is not medicine, but a stable home atmosphere. It is the love of a man, not medicine, that is fundamental to the symptoms of hysteria that occur in old virgins. What is fundamental to the sitting room is not money, but rise.
What do our churches, families, friends, and neighbors really need? Pay attention with the eyes of love. then
