Title: Genealogy of Faith!
Today, there are probably few people who believe in Jesus, who do not know the secret of Jesus' birth process. However, compared to the Gentiles today who know the details of Jesus' birth, the Israelites at that time did not know the process of Jesus' birth at all. As a result, it would not have been easy for them to acknowledge and accept Jesus as the Son of God. If, in the same way, the spiritual Son of God comes among the Gentiles, it is almost certain that the Gentiles will also disbelieve and reject him. The reason is that when those who lived a religious life judged their son by the law of the Word, the son was acting in violation of the law of the Word.
As we examine the mystery of the birth process of Jesus recorded in the Bible, it will be helpful to the Gentiles to examine the mystery of the birth process of the spiritual Son of God who will come among the Gentiles. The people of Israel knew for sure that the Messiah would come, but they did not know in what form and how he would come. Suddenly, a carpenter's son appeared, calling himself the Messiah, meeting publicans and prostitutes, and meeting the sick and paying for their sins. When he was doing things for forgiveness, the religious leaders at the time who were looking at it could not recognize Jesus as the true Messiah, who was doing the exact opposite of the Messiah they thought (salvation of the body). If we try to understand the Messiah through the human mind or the law, everyone will perish.
To the extent that we already feel such wrong things so deeply through the people of Israel, we must judge the spiritual Messiah (spiritual son) who comes from among the Gentiles today to save them from their sins in their hearts by judging them with human thoughts or judging them with the law of the Word. They should make sure that they do not reject him because they do not follow their doctrine. Therefore, if you look at the birth process of Jesus recorded in the Bible, you will automatically know the birth process of the spiritual Son of God who will be sent among the Gentiles. The only difference is that he comes from a physical son to a spiritual son.
First, the foreshadowing of Jesus' coming into this world begins with God's promise to Abraham. Abraham had no children until he met God. When Abraham believes and accepts God, God says that he will give him a great reward, but Abraham does not want anything else big, so he asks Eliezer, who was raised in his own house, to grow well. But God says that this man will not be your heir, but the one who comes from your body will be your heir! you say After that, Abraham became blind when he heard that the child born out of your body would become your heir, so he took Hagar, Sarah's servant, and gave birth to Ishmael. However, God appears to Abraham again and makes it clear that Ishmael cannot become the child of the promise, and that the one who will be born in Sarah's body will become the child of the promise. When Sarah heard these words from behind the tent door, she thought about her situation and laughed, but God said clearly, "When the time comes, I will return to you, and Sarah will have a son!" Your words remind us of this promise once again.
After that, when Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 years old, Isaac was born as God had promised. He is also a son who typifies Jesus Christ, who will be sent to the land of Israel as the Son of God in the future. Isaac again conceived twins, Esau and Jacob, through Rebekah, but God had already decided their fate before they were born, that is, in Rebekah's womb. Here, Jacob's selection process was not caused by the will of man, but only by the one who chooses, so it is a matter that no Gentile can dispute about it. The fact that God abandoned the manly-looking Esau and chose the worm-like and mean Jacob, foreshadows the spiritual Son of God who will be sent to the Gentiles in the future, and it is also a picture foreshadowing that the Son chosen in this way will eventually be sent to the Gentiles.
As we watch the birth process of Jesus, we should also pay attention to the birth process of the spiritual Son of God who will come among the Gentiles in the future. It is clear that the spiritual Son of God who comes from among the Gentiles will also come through the genealogy of faith, not blindly coming from among the Gentiles. But it doesn't really matter to us, because it's a thing of the past. More important than that is the process through which the spiritual Son of God who comes to us is born and through what process he comes to us is more important to us. The spiritual Son of God who comes from among the Gentiles is not as complicated as the Son of God who comes to the land of Israel in the flesh.
If we look at the process simply, when Gentiles believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit dwells in the spirits of Gentiles who believe because the blood shed when Jesus died on the cross has the effect. To say that the Holy Spirit indwells those who believe means that they have become the spiritual people of Israel. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit among the believing Gentiles should not be spoken as if the Gentiles had gained life. Even Gentiles must believe in the spiritual Son sent by God in order to receive life. Because of the Son, even the Gentiles will have the Spirit of the Lord dwelling in their hearts. Just as God's spiritual son unilaterally selected Jacob in Rebekah's womb, He chooses one of the Gentiles and pours out the Spirit of His Son into his heart. Of course, in order to pour out the Spirit of the Son, evil must first be removed from the heart of the chosen person. The spirit of the Son dwells in the heart of the person who has removed evil, and from then on he will live as a spiritual son. So, it means that on the outside it looks like the Gentiles, but on the inside, the Son of God resides.
Now, all Gentiles must believe in the spiritual Son of God sent by God to enter eternal life. To believe in the spiritual Son does not mean to believe in human beings, but to believe in the Son of God who has come into the heart of man who God has unilaterally chosen and established. Therefore, we must not believe in him physically as a son, but believe in our hearts. The easiest way to know whether or not he is the son of God is that if the words he uttered with his mouth come true, then he has been sent by God. not a son There is no more convincing evidence than this.
