M1

“Welcome to the next person. I love you. Bless you.”

Among the saints, a man whose husband drives his wife to church and waits in the car until his wife's worship service is over - a man who dedicates himself to family reconciliation

A person who only has a decision left

Example> US President Cleveland

M2

God said to Abraham

First, verse 10, “Let the male among you be circumcised!”

Make a decision to have the outward sign of God's people!

Decisions are painful!

Verse 11 “Cut the sheepskin”

Obstacle 1> Abraham- There is a danger of death.

Obstacle 2> There is a problem with Abraham's leadership.

Self, male servant, stranger, 80 year old child, old man - I don't understand.

Obstacle 3.> Complaining against God

As the promise to give him a child became a threat to his life, Abraham began to complain about God. My children, let alone my life, have been taken away by those servants!

M3

Abraham decides to be circumcised.

1>God wanted to give everything- Father's heart

2> The Lord's God worked to make a decision.

3> God wants to give all blessings to Abraham, who made a decision at the risk of death.

4>Abraham's decision makes everyone, including his family and strangers, blessed.

M4

What have I not decided on in my life?

Decide now!

There are three main motives for making our decisions.

The first is intrinsic motivation. Animals are driven by their instincts, and they make decisions and follow what they are drawn to.

Example> Severe noise in the upper and lower floors of the apartment - Fight with baseball bats and shackles

The second is rational motivation. I have an instinctive impulse, but I can't follow it as it is, so I think again. Is this good? Is this correct? After asking about morality, I make a decision. When we ignore rational judgment and make decisions, we become miserable. People make choices and make decisions accordingly.

The third is religious motivation. - God's will

Thinking that God lives, God's power is with me, God's love is with me, and God is on my side, I put God's will first and make a decision. I don't understand it for a while, but I choose it because it is God's will. It might be unfortunate for me. It doesn't matter though. It is a decision to do as it is your will, therefore I will do your will.

It is a choice and a decision, like the one the Lord made in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Verse 12, “From generation to generation a male shall be circumcised on the eighth day after birth, either by the housewives or by those who are not of your descendants but bought with money from a foreigner.”

The great Danish philosopher Kierkegaard once told the story of a flock of ducks traveling to the southern tip to escape the harsh winter winds.

The night before they left, a flock of ducks picked up grains from a farm yard and ate them to their fullest. And the next morning flew to the southern country. But one of the big ducks was pushed back saying, “These grains are so good, I have to wait one more day and then leave.” The next day, we decided to stay one more day, and the next day we still ate delicious grains. In the meantime, the habit of saying, “Tomorrow we should fly south.”

Meanwhile, a strong wind blew, and it was impossible to delay any longer. So I was forced to spread my wings and go to the southern country, but I got too fat to fly. It was too late.

There is an article written by Sybil F. Partridge, ‘Only for today…’.

First, let's be happy just for today!

Lincoln's saying, "Man becomes as happy as he makes up his mind" is true. In fact, human happiness comes from within, not from external circumstances.

Second, let's take care of ourselves only for today!

Exercise, save your body, and eat a balanced diet. Do not abuse or mistreat my body!

Third, let's train the soul like this for today only!

Be kind to people. Let's do something useful to others. Let's voluntarily do what we don't want to do.

Today's decision- There are fruits today.

Daniel> ‘Choose a will’ - Decided not to worship idols - Experiment for 10 days

Verse 1:9 “God made Daniel to find favor and mercy from the eunuchs” - Loved by people

Verse 15 - Beautiful and full of flesh - Blessing of health

Verse 17 - Daniel understood and understood all visions and dreams.
