Title: Genesis 09:18-27 Descendants of Blessing
Contents Genesis 9:18-27 / Descendants of Blessing
We are all people who have been greatly blessed by God. If you ask if there is a specific person who will be blessed, you can find the correct answer in today's Word.
Some people are born with favorable conditions from birth. These are people who were born into a wealthy family or to wealthy parents. Conversely, there are many people who received great blessings after being born like Judas, Jacob, and Peter. The Bible, the Word of God, is full of these people and events.
Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Shem and Japheth were blessed, but Ham was cursed. Shem was blessed to praise Jehovah.
In particular, “the God of Shem” refers to the blessing of becoming a descendant of God. He enlarged the borders of Japheth and blessed them to dwell in the tents of Shem. It was the blessing of praising God together with Shem. But what happened to Ham? Shem and Japheth were cursed beyond the punishment of being ‘servant of servants’.
So, what is the difference between blessing and curse? After the flood, Noah grew grapes. It's a storm. I soaked the wine. Noah drank a cup or two alone, and he got drunk. He stumbled, and with all his lower back removed, he lay flat in the middle of the veil with a large pole.
Then Ham, the second son, came in to get a tool. I saw my father naked. Then he insulted and criticized his father to his brothers. Of course, it is true that Noah made a big mistake. Genesis 6:9 says, “Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his time, and he walked with God.” Is this just what the person who walked with God looked like? Is this righteous or perfect? Ham was excited and cheerful.
But under the same circumstances, Shem and Japheth first put their father's clothes on their shoulders and stepped back to approach their father. And I covered my father's lower body. Then I looked forward and walked out with frequent strides.
Shem and Japheth were completely different from Ham. He respected and exalted his father's authority and honor. As a result, Ham was cursed and Shem and Japheth were blessed. What changed their fate? That's filial piety. Filial piety is our duty and the source of blessings.
Just as a man must be filial to his parents, he must be filial to God. To be filial to God is to live a good life of faith. Be specific on Sunday. And pay a full tithe, leading every soul to the Lord. Live or die, show the glory of God.
Even if the physical parents have faults, they should be filial, much less to God. Our God makes no mistakes or mistakes. You don't even have a clue. There is no change. He created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, and even now he is providing and controlling all of our lives.
Worshiping that God thoroughly is the complete filial piety we offer. Let me first set an example of filial piety and pass it down to my children. So let us become the descendants of great blessings. Congratulations on your victory.
