Most Koreans work hard from morning to evening. Most zealous Christians work hard from dawn to late at night, starting with early morning worship. In life, birth is important, but the end of life is more important than anything else. Birth is not up to one's will, but destination is in line with one's life.
Among the figures in the Old and New Testaments, everyone picks Moses in the Old Testament and Paul in the New Testament. The two men were faithful for the Lord as representative figures of the Old and New Testaments. Moses climbed Mount Nebo, died on the top of Mount Pisgah, and was buried in Beth-Peor, the land of Moab. Paul was the man who finished his life in a Roman prison.
Have we fought the good fight in our lives?
How many times have you fought in your life?
The history of life is the history of war.
How many spiritual wars do you fight while fighting so many life wars?
The Christian life must be a life of war.
John Bunyan's journey as a veteran showed that life is a battle between heaven and hell. Not only outside the church, but also inside the church, it is a war against Satan who wants to overthrow, a war against the world, and a war with myself, who must always be armed with the Word and armed with prayer. We must fight today and tomorrow, and only those who fight to the point of bloodshed can win the final victory.
The good fight is to keep the faith.
The important thing in the fight of the saints is, “How much did you glorify God with your faith because of that incident?”, “Not how drunk you were, but how did you keep your faith?” is. If you give up your faith like a devoted partner and brag about what you're drunk, it's a shame before the Lord.
A good fight prepares for a reward.
Judgment is not a fear for Christians, but a time of blessing, a time of reward. A worker works and gets paid. Workers who have done their best await praise and rewards.
Judgment is like rest for Christians.
Those who have worked hard all day will go to sleep like honey. Jesus died as a ransom sacrifice, and the reward is only for those who believed and worked hard.
Judgment is crowned by the runner of faith who did his best.
