3. The blessing of the shepherd's heart
(1 Thessalonians 2:19) What is our hope, or our joy, or the crown of our boasting? Are not you before our Lord Jesus at his coming?
(1 Thessalonians 2:20) You are our glory and our joy.

As we approach Easter, there is something we need to understand. That is, the objects of the world's hope, joy, and glory are usually to enjoy wealth and glory. But the Bible says that we are people who evangelized and nurtured.

What is the meaning of hope, joy, pride, glory? The word glory here can be understood through the glory of the Lord reflected when Jesus came to this earth. In the light of the glory of the Lord, the good news of great joy for all the people is delivered. That is, the Savior Jesus Christ came into this world. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased.
That's right. I am the one who will share and enjoy this wonderful grace that brings us great joy through the Savior Jesus Christ, hears the best news, gives glory to God, and makes us peace. He is me, those who believe and follow the Lord because of me. We have been given this wonderful glory through the Lord.

Jesus explains the original appearance of me enjoying this glory through the Lord by telling the story of a man who made a great feast. However, those who refused the feast come out. The reason was that he refused the feast due to the affairs of the world, such as buying a field, buying five yoke of oxen, getting married, and so on. So the owner of the house says to the servant. Bring the poor, the sick, the lame, and the blind. As a result, those who lacked were able to participate in the great feast and enjoy the taste.

That's right. I was at a standstill. But Jesus came to the end. He was humbled, suffered, slain, and resurrected. Through this, He opened the way for our salvation. Just as I was saved through the humiliation of Jesus, I, too, serve our evangelism and nurture subjects from a low position, and when humbled like the Lord, we will enjoy and glorify the glory of Jesus the Savior together. As a result, I bless all of us who mature as disciples of the Lord.
