God's amazing love (John 3:16-22)
There is a cemetery for foreigners in Yanghwajin. It is a cemetery for those who have lived and died in Korea since the end of the Korean War. The main characters of the cemetery are mainly missionaries. What drove those young people to this land? They came to the land of Joseon, where they did not know where they were in the past, and when they came to this land where all civilizations were backward compared to the West and did missionary work, sometimes the missionaries themselves died, sometimes their wives died, sometimes their children died. I did missionary work without leaving the country, and even after I died, I loved Korea and Koreans, so I made a will to bury him in the land of Korea, the land I love. What on earth compelled them to come to this land, to dedicate their youth and life to this land, and to make them so desperately want to be buried here? The answer to that question is verse 16 of the Bible we read today. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
God sent a son for us who live on this earth, and he made him bear our sins, suffer, and die on the cross. The love of God made young people come to this earth to dedicate their youth and their lives. Since he gave up his life and saved ours, what greater love can there be than that?
The love that laid down one's life is precious, and no one can follow it, but the greater and more precious love is the love that a father gives his children. There is no greater love than a father giving up his children to save others.
This love is a sublime love. God loved the world so much that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to death (Romans 5:8).
Because He had to save us, He gave His Son for us. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took our sins, suffered, and died on the cross for us. Think of this desperate love of God. Accept God's love for me. If anyone believes in this love of God and the fact that Jesus Christ died for us, and returns to God, no one will perish.
In verse 17 of the Bible we read today, “God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” said
Could there be a way to save us without God sending His Son to die for our sins? Yes, it never was.
Because God is a God of justice. God is a God of justice from which those who are to be punished can never be exempted. There is no blood, no tears, no mercy, no mercy in justice. Sin must be judged as it is. If God does not judge with justice, God will not be righteous. .
No one can escape this judgment. Those who are judged must be condemned and destroyed.
If God judges according to His justice, no one will be saved. They cannot survive the judgment of God's justice. So is our life. No matter how good you are, no one is perfect before God. Therefore, no one can escape the judgment of God's justice. It is a wise path that satisfies the standard of judgment by God's justice and that people can also save. It was to send the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, to this earth to receive the judgment of justice for our sins and die. It was a way in which Jesus Christ was judged and punished in our place, and the judgment of justice was no longer given to those who believed and accepted that Jesus was judged in our place. This is a decision of love that God made to save us (Romans 8:1).
Knowing that we do not need to be punished because Jesus was punished for us, those who believe in Jesus as their Savior are freed from God's righteous judgment. This way of salvation is entirely God's way. We call this the grace of God. It is the perfect grace of God.
Ladies and gentlemen, in order to save you, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die as a penalty for our sins and transgressions. Those who know this love of God, this tremendous grace of God, and this mystery of salvation come to God by believing in Jesus Christ. Everyone! Accept this love of God. Do not turn away from the love of God, the love of which God demonstrated His love for us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8, Rev.). God has been waiting for you until now. Return to God. God welcomes you with love. He forgives your sins and accepts you as God's children.
“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
I bless you all to know God's love, believe that his Son Jesus Christ died for our sins to save us, and live as people in the kingdom of heaven. And moved by this love of God, I try to spread this wonderful news, this good news. That is why missionaries from Canada, the United States, and England come to Korea and die, and people from our country go to various parts of the world as missionaries to share this good news. Also, in our country, thousands of people have established churches in various places and are spreading the news.
Everyone! God is love. love you He loved by giving his only begotten Son. Now I hope you will accept that love too. Then you will be freed from the judgment of God's justice and become a child of God. Furthermore, you too will enjoy that love and live loving and being loved. This love is not a love with a mask to protect its own interests. It is not a selfish love that seeks to satisfy desires. It is a love that you do while sacrificing yourself and losing money. With this love, your family will change and the world will change. When you accept God's love, you become happy and free. I am happy when I am loved and loved. May you all be happy with this love of God.
