God gave Noah a rainbow as a promise that he would never again destroy the world with water.
This comes from the grace of God's compassionate love for mankind.
1. Scope of the Covenant (9-10) - God's covenant is not only applicable to Noah, but to everyone after you.
What will affect the future. That is why it is called the eternal covenant (16).
All saints today are God's covenant people.
2. Title of the Covenant (11.15) - It is to show that He will never judge mankind with a flood again.
This means that life is preserved in the midst of complete destruction, and through which all living things will bloom anew.

And he keeps his covenant to a thousand generations and shows mercy to those who keep his commandments.

The rainbow presented as a proof of the covenant has continued to appear from Noah's flood until now.
Even if heaven and earth change, God's word does not change even one point, one point, one time. (Mt 24:35)
The Bible is full of God's rich promise to the saints. It is not limited to the time when that covenant was, but it is a faithful covenant that affects us even today.
Christian mistakes (20-26)
The text teaches us through the mistakes of Noah and the attitude of his sons.
1. Noah's mistake (20, 21). He was said to be righteous and perfect in his time (6:9).
But through his mistakes, no man himself can be perfect, and there is nothing good for man.
realize that there is none. Believers are always sober (2 Tim 1:7; 1 Pet 4:7; 5:8; Prov 2:11), do not think that you are standing.
Be careful not to fall (1 Corinthians 10:12). Only “Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2).
There is nothing to enjoy to keep us from such mistakes, except that we look daily and do not depart from the path of faith.
2. The attitude of the sons to mistakes (22, 23).
1) Ham's attitude (22). Ham was the first to see his father's naked body.

God recorded Noah's mistakes so that we could realize the weakness of the flesh (Mark 14:38; Galatians 2:16). Therefore, we must always reach out to the vision by word and prayer (1 Timothy 4:7),
You must become a believer who can forgive and cover the mistakes of others.
