Title: God's DNA
There are also verses in the Gospel of John that can be understood in relation to this DNA. First of all, what kind of people are Christians? A Christian can be described in several ways. Among them, the most prominent explanation is the designation of Christians as “children of God” (John 1:12) and “those who are born of God” (1:13).
The word children of God has been used so often that it now sounds almost insensitive. However, these words have a moving meaning that redefines our identity. If we say that those children are Hong Gil-dong's children, it means that they were born with Hong Gil-dong's DNA, that is, Hong Gil-dong's genes. It is said that Hong Gil-dong and Hong Gil-dong are similar not only in appearance, but also in thought, personality and heart. A child of God means a person who has the DNA of God.
So, who is God? The Gospel of John is a unique description of God. that God is spirit. If Christians are children of God and people who are born of God, it means that they are born with the divine nature. Thus, John's Jesus insists that worshipers should worship spiritually (4:24). Furthermore, Jesus teaches, “It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless” and also declares, “The words I have spoken to you are the Spirit” (6:63). Why is the spiritual life so emphasized? It is to make sure that Christians do not forget the DNA of God in their life on earth and keep it well.
The two titles “children of God” and “those who are born of God” are similar. However, while “children of God” emphasize the present status of believers more as a result of being born of God, “people who are born of God” emphasize the divine origin of believers more. However, both designations define believers as sacred people in terms of consciousness of their origin or present state.
When we turn to divinity, we can draw closer to God. Conversely, the more we turn toward the flesh, the further we move away from God. Spirituality will increase in depth when us toward heaven and heaven toward us become one.
First of all, in order to live while maintaining divinity on earth, one must deeply recognize the limitations of language and the fiction of language. No matter how many words I say water, my thirst is not quenched. Words about God and God are different. I don't mean love, I need love. words should be limited. Divinity grows in silence. Words are a wall. The divinity is enlarged when the words fall off. After all, didn't Jesus even warn with his mouth, saying, "Lord, not everyone who says, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven"
God's DNA is maintained in true prayer. Any cry of desire or dealing with God is not the true meaning of prayer. God doesn't seem to love our hasty prayers. True prayer is gratitude for God's grace. A cry for more filling is far from true prayer. I would like to recommend silent prayer rather than such a lowly prayer. Meditating is the work of removing stones and weeds related to our flesh and creating good soil for the heart so that the flower of God's divine DNA in us can grow well.
What is the ultimate goal of believers? It is becoming one with God. But as long as you keep pouring out words about God, you can never become one with God. If we are to become one with God who is spirit, we must abide in God, not in theories and doctrines about God. To do that, we need to use God's DNA in us as a point of contact. Divinity and divinity are easily combined into one.
To be embraced in the oneness of Jesus and the Father is the highest glory that believers can enjoy. Jesus goes on to pray: “I have given them the glory that you have given me, that they may be one, as we are one” (17:22).
Become one with God! Isn't that a heart-fluttering blessing? In fact, John's church members saw themselves as little "gods". In John 10:35, Jesus declared: “Those who received the word of God were called gods… .” The title “gods” alludes to the self-determination of the Church of John. Its members see themselves as little “gods”. After belief that the heavenly Jesus had come to this earth, they became self-conscious as these “gods”. Just as Jesus was the one who received the Word of God (17:8), so believers are “gods” who have received the Word of God (10:35). You can become gods only when you focus all your mental powers spiritually.
This is the good news of John. All the other chores are nothing compared to this news. Please resolutely reject any religious attempts to silence the divinity within you. I hope you will boldly turn your back on the temptations around you that try to suppress the torch within you and turn it into a home fire.
Jesus declares: “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” (14:9) Just as looking at Jesus reminds us of God, when we look at us people must sense the divine atmosphere. What do people usually think of when they see you? Do they say that looking at you alone makes the world taste good, or does it taste like rice just by looking at you? What do you want people to associate with you when they see you? When I see you, I feel divine energy. Isn't this the only way to be called a person who walks the Christian path?
In some religions, the raft should be abandoned after crossing the river. Yes. When I was very young, it was worth trying it once. But a mature believer doesn't need that either. Because there is no river in front of them to cross in the first place. Because they are little gods.
If you try to turn your face toward the flesh rather than the spirit, you will be rejecting your own God-given divine DNA. It seems that God had no friends, so he gave his DNA to humans and used it as a mirror to reflect himself. A person who lacks spirituality within himself is already dead.
Just like a tree with our feet on the ground and our heads always pointing to the sky, we too, although on the ground, should always face the sky and communicate with God and divinity. For God is a Spirit, and we are the noble children of the Spirit, God.
