God of promise, God! The people of Israel are the promised people! The Bible, the Word of God, is called the Book of Promise.
He even calls the Bible the Old Testament (old covenant) and the New Testament (new covenant).
The God who creates and operates the heavens and the earth is the God of promise and the God of blessing.
Everyone!! I hope you will have many joyful and blessed promises from God.
God made a rainbow promise to mankind through Noah.
The world has become so evil that God has determined to destroy all life that breathes through the nose on all the earth.
The rain that fell for 40 days and nights swallowed up the whole land, and only those who were in Noah's ark and the animals survived.
And God made a promise to Noah on behalf of mankind, and placed a rainbow as that promise.
The rainbow is like the shadow of the cross of Jesus Christ in the dimension of God's promise.
God promised an exodus from Egypt to the suffering people of Israel.
God promised not only to bring the people of Israel out of Egypt, but to bring them into Canaan, the promised land of God flowing with milk and honey that God had promised to Abraham.
God promised the cross for the forgiveness of mankind's sins.
The Promise of Atonement The cross is the only covenant for a new humanity and a new life.
No matter how difficult difficulties and desperate things a Christian may face, as long as he looks at the cross, he has no need to be afraid.
For the descendants of Noah, the foundation of thanksgiving and praise is the rainbow, so for us the cross is the only covenant of safety, assurance, and joy.
