Title: God's Management and Church Revival
Text: Isaiah 14:24-27
God's Management and Church Revival
The word management is repeated in the text. In verse 24, what I have planned must be accomplished. In verse 26, this is the plan for the whole world, and in verse 27, the LORD of hosts has planned it, so who can abolish it.... Proverbs 16:1 says that the plans of the heart belong to man, but the answers of the words come from the LORD. In verse 3, entrust your deeds to the LORD, and your plans will come to pass.
In the new year of 2011, God will run our Seongsan Church, and we will attend. I believe that a great revival will happen. In order to successfully achieve the vision of church growth, a creative plan must be meticulously established in advance according to God's will. We pray together in the name of the Lord that you will have a blessed time to receive grace while thinking about what to do at this time.
1. Recognize the importance of management and planning (Isaiah 46:11)
1) Recognize the importance of management.
2) Recognize the importance of planning.
Management is important, but what do you do? It means that you are running with a plan. God created all things through His thorough plan, that is, providence. And in the redemption of man, he also planned that salvation, accomplished salvation through his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and applied to us the salvation accomplished through the Holy Spirit and through Christ. In the same way, God does not want us to work hand in hand, but He wants us to work carefully and deliberately. Therefore, our Seongsan family started 2011 with a creative and thorough plan. 2011 is the year of fulfilling the Lord's plan. Let's spread the gospel to this city as an action item. Let's invite 100 people per person. We believe that God will make our dreams come true.
2. A creative ministry plan has several characteristics (Proverbs 16:3)
Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will work out.”
3. Make a plan for growth (Psalm 20:4)
There are several steps to creating a plan for growth.
1) This is the stage of understanding. To effectively plan for growth, you need to first identify and validate it. First, the purpose must be clear. Since the purpose of the church is to please God by saving human souls, every plan must be a means to this end.
2) This is the setting stage. After the analysis and understanding phase, it is the phase to set specific goals. Your goals should be specific so you can decide what to do, how much, and by when. And you need to develop a growth strategy. This is a way to achieve your goals, and you should prioritize your key strategies.
Finally, there must be a stage of evaluation and reward (Deuteronomy 25:4). Deuteronomy 25:4 says, “You shall not muzzle an ox that shakes the grain.” Of course, believers should not expect to pay for church work. The reward should come from God, but the church should basically appreciate the hard work of those who work hard, and appropriate rewards should follow. Hallelujah!
Dear Seongsan Family! God's management is always accomplished without failure. But we have to do our part on the human side. For Seongsan Church to revive through God's management, we must first recognize the importance of management and planning, and since the church is an organization, we must have a strategy and plan to move that organization. And you have to manage it according to the plan you set up. In other words, there must be a ministry plan. A creative ministry plan has several characteristics. First, a thorough diagnosis is required, and then a strategy to achieve the plan is required.
And we need to establish a plan for growth, we need a stage of identification, a stage of setting, and finally, a stage of evaluation and compensation. However, no matter how good a plan is, it must be related to evangelism and church revival. If we move forward with this attitude in 2011, there will be a great revival in the church and great blessings will come to the evangelists. In the name of the Lord, I bless all of you in the Seongsan family who thoroughly trust and cooperate with God's management.
