Title: God's Plan and Providence
Content Title: God's Plan and Providence
Bible: Exodus 1:6-14
If we know and live God's interest and plan at work in our lives, we will be able to live more and more fulfilling God's will. Even if it is difficult and difficult, we must know God's providence. God, who led Jacob's family to Egypt to escape famine, removed his descendants from the Poxos dynasty, which he had in the past, appointed Joseph, and created a new 18th dynasty, Ahamose, through the suffering and expansion of the hostile relationship of the people of Israel. In such an environment, God's interest and heart were the prosperity and splendor of the nation. Through this, we must discern the difference between God's thoughts and our thoughts, and I hope that we will become those who discover God's interest and providence in our suffering and fulfill our duty as God's people.
First: The whole earth is full.
“And the children of Israel were fruitful and multiplied and multiplied, and became very strong, and the whole earth was filled” (verse 7). When Jacob and his family emigrated to Egypt, the number of 70 people multiplied tens of thousands after 400 years. The blessing God gave to mankind after creating the heavens and the earth and all things was “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.” The blessing of being fruitful and multiplying is changed to evangelism in the New Testament. (Mark 16:15) “He said, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Therefore, we must pay attention to God's interest and work hard. It is telling you that you must preach. It was God's plan that He wanted His people to fill the whole earth.
Second: It is the process of God's guidance.
“Surely I will be with you, says God, and after you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will serve God on this mountain, and this is the proof that I sent you” (Exodus 3:12). It is guidance. It was their wish for the people of Israel to be freed from hard labor and suffering in Egypt, and because God loves them, he not only led them out, but also wanted to make them into a nation of the greatest nation, led by God's providence as a national community. The reason God made all the peoples of the world know that we are a community living under God's guidance is because God made us know the blessings of those we love.
Third: The finality is the providence of salvation.
“Then the LORD said to Abram, “Know it for sure. Your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, and they will serve them, and they will afflict your descendants four hundred years. (Genesis 15:13-14) God delivered Israel from Egypt. To save him according to this promise, he chose Moses and gave him all kinds of powers and miracles. It was to save his people. Even in Egypt, Israel is God's people. The same is true in Canaan. But God wants Israel to come out of Egypt and go into Canaan. May God never let the people go on the road of salvation empty-handed, but know that in abundance He gives a free step towards Canaan.
