Title: God's Promise (Isaiah 41:8-14)
From Genesis to Malachi, the Bible is full of God's promises.
From Matthew to Jude, God's promise is fulfilled, and Revelation is recorded as another promise.

What is the promise in Isaiah 41 that we read today?
1. God has promised not to forsake us.
"(9) ... You are my servant; I have chosen you, and I have not rejected you."
“(17) I, the LORD, will answer them, and I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.”
God is with us today.
"(10) Fear not, for I am with you... yea, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
(Exodus 33:14) "I will go myself, and I will give you peace," said the LORD.
2. God has promised to help us.
“(10) I will strengthen you. I will help you.”
"(13) ... Fear not, for I will say to you I will help you."
(14) I will help you, says the LORD, and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
When God helped His people, He made them cross the Red Sea like dry land, and found manna and quail in the wilderness.
He fed them with a flag and led them by a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.
(Psalm 121:1-2) I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where will my help come from?

3. God has promised to make us overcome.
"(12) You will seek, but you will not find those who fought against you, and those who attack you are like nothing.
You will become like this vanity."
“(Romans 8:37) But over all these we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
"(2 Corinthians 4:8-9) We are wracked in all directions, but we are not crushed; we are perplexed, but we are discouraged.
being persecuted, but not forsaken; being struck down, but not destroyed..."
God is with us today, helping, guiding, and protecting us.
And let us overcome and receive it with the glory of God.
