Title: God's Promise and Abraham's Faith

The purpose of life and the meaning of life are diverse. The same goes for human success. What does true success mean? Who is the successful one? Success should be a success that others recognize, and it should be a success that you have little regrets. But true success is, above all else, a success that God approves.
God tells Abraham to leave Ur of the Chaldeans and go to the promised Canaan. He promised, “I will make you into a great nation and a source of blessings.” Abraham believed that promise and left his native land and his father's house to enter the unfamiliar and unfamiliar land of Canaan. God gave Abraham a promise, and Abraham believed and followed God's promise. However, as the years passed and the promise faded, Abraham and Sarah were mistaken because they wanted to make God's promise themselves. Saints must remember. God makes a promise and we believe in that promise.
Abraham's thoughts
“My heir is Eliezer, whom I made a slave in Damascus.”
These words seem like great faith and are generous in the sight of God, but they are a big mistake. In human opinion, it is a very natural idea. It's a good thing that if you bring them up and raise them, you can raise the abandoned children beautifully because they are ruthless and have no hope. But God speaks.
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for those who believe."
Genesis 15:4 And the word of the LORD came to him, saying, This man will not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body will be your heir.
Abraham's wife Sarah's thoughts
After hearing this, Sarah pondered. Ten years have passed since they entered the land of Canaan. Her husband Abraham loved her terribly, but God said no to Eliezer, whom she brought as a servant.
Sarah was a kind-hearted woman, so she took a deep breath and yielded. This must be a woman's pain. He put Hagar into her husband's arms and had to weep every night. They seem to have made great sacrifices, but they do not have faith. Believers do not have to sacrifice anything other than faith. You don't have to be nice to something that isn't faith. God is not a God who destroys order.
God's promises and believers' faith are like two pillars on a ladder. We believe in God's promises and that He will fulfill those promises in any circumstance and situation. God promises us today through His Word. I pray that the saints will become successful people who faithfully hold on to the promise of God, who is not incapable of doing anything, and that they will surely gain the promise of God through faith.
