Sermons for Preaching

Title: God's Seat Belt (Romans 08:31)

The God of love who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and protects his children with eyes like a flame. How God Protects and Helps Us

1. Being together in the middle (1 Corinthians 6:19).

The human body came from God, is the dwelling place of the person of God, and ultimately belongs to God (2 Corinthians 6:16). As the Holy One who dwells among us (Hos. 11:9), he enables his servants to proclaim that God truly is among you (1 Cor. 14:25), so that we may find comfort with one another (Romans 1: 12).

Since God is with us in our hearts and habits, at home and at work, we must put away our selfishness, self-righteousness, and coarseness, and let Him do His work (Proverbs 16:9, 19:21).

2. Together from above (Ephesians 4:6)

Do not be tormented by all spiritual and physical persecution, various problems, and material damage suffered because of Christ, because the One who knows all these things is above you (Job 1:8, 2:3). Our God above is the Father of mankind (Ephesians 46) and the Father of all who believe in Christ (Galatians 3:26).

God who endured the pain of being torn when Jesus, his only begotten Son, cried out on the cross. He hears our cry from above and helps.

3. Be with you (John 14:16)

God is by our side to comfort us when we are sad, sick, suffering, and dying (Luke 23:43). The Holy Spirit is beside us, teaching us everything, reminding us of everything the Lord has said (John 14:26), and leading us in the way of truth (John 15:26).

4. Together from below (Deut. 33:27)

God wants to support us, to sustain us, to build us up, and to hold us in his arms. This marvelous love of God gives encouragement (Joshua 1:5,7) and comfort to those who are afraid (Job 42:2-6,10) Do not be dismayed, for I am with you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand (Isaiah 41:10).
