God's Sovereign Election / Romans 9:25-29
Today, we are going to share grace with God about God's sovereign choice. God's sovereign choice means that history is all decided in God's hands. It means that all the blessings of life and death are in God's hands.
Modern people mistakenly think that if they try their best, they will be able to do it. So he runs and falls. But we must know that even if we are unbelievers, nothing can happen without God's permission. According to the Bible, even King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had everything decided in God's predestination. He disciplined Israel through him, and later pushed him out of the throne.
Whether we believe it or not, no one can be excluded from this. Therefore, we must have the conviction that God is the master of history, and that nothing happens without God's permission. That will make you humble. Otherwise, you will become arrogant. The construction of the temple we are currently promoting does not happen without God's permission, and even small facilities we want can be done through anyone as long as God allows it. do you believe
So today, I would like to share grace with you under the title of God's Sovereign Choice.
1. God's absolute sovereignty is the basis of our salvation (verse 16).
The Bible speaks of God's predestination in several places, which means that our salvation is accomplished in God's sovereignty. Of course, you can believe it. But the seed of that faith was also given by God. So this is not from you, it is the gift of God. do you believe The amazing thing is that God is not only in control of big things, but even our hairs are counted. “Not one hair of your head will be damaged” (Luke 21:18) “Not one of you will lose a single hair” (Acts 27:34). Then, all our big and small things are within the providence of God. Please don't get me wrong about what I'm doing.
2. The next important thing is that there is no injustice in God's sovereignty (verse 14).
Because we are God's creatures, everything is God's standard. Everything God does is good and righteous. He is like our potter. Therefore, whatever he decides, whatever he does, is righteous. This cannot and cannot be criticized in the concept of an egalitarian society. Because God is the standard.
3. Because God has absolute sovereignty, we cannot judge or evaluate (verse 20).
Because God's sovereignty is absolute. Therefore, we cannot make our judgments or evaluations. Therefore, we must judge everything according to our own judgment. This is evident in our life of faith.
4. Therefore, we must abandon our own country and live for the kingdom of God.
5. Let us, therefore, thank, praise, and be faithful that we are chosen and become children of God.
Actually, we were originally vessels of God's wrath, but God changed and made us into vessels of God's glory. Therefore, we must live with the confession, “Even if I cry all the time, I will give myself nothing but my body, knowing that tears cannot be repaid. It is a prayer of thanksgiving and praise. We are now such a useless servant, but since he has given us various offices, we have no choice but to be loyal.
What more glory can we have if we can use our lives to be held by a sovereign God? Therefore, I pray that we can realize our identity and become all the tools God uses. What I wish for is that each and every one of us becomes God's possession and becomes a vessel for God to use, so that we can accomplish the amazing work of God.
