Title: God's Special Possession

Bible/Exodus 19:1-6 Key verse, Exodus 19:5-6 Sunday evening service on June 18, 1995
"Introduction"
Exodus 19:1 On the first day of the third month after the people of Israel came out of Egypt, on that very day, they came to the wilderness of Sinai.
Exodus 19:2 They left Rephidim and came to the wilderness of Sinai and encamped in the wilderness. After Israel encamped there in front of the mountain,
Exodus 19:3 Moses went up to the presence of God. Yahweh called him from the mountain. "Say this to the clan of Jacob. Teach the children of Israel this way.
Exodus 19:4 “Have you not seen how I dealt with the Egyptians and how I brought you to me on eagles’ wings?
Exodus 19:5 Now, if you will listen to me and keep the covenant I have made, you will be mine among the nations. Isn't the whole world mine?
Exodus 19:6 You will be my kingdom with the office of priests, my holy people.' This is what you will tell the children of Israel.”
Whom I belong to and who owns my destiny determines my destiny.
It is a universal truth that the status, attributes, and even the mode of life are all determined by the owner.
When the Israelites reached the historic Mount Sinai, God called Moses and officially declared how God would continue his relationship with Israel.
He says that if we continue to obey God's commands and do well in the future, he will make this people his own and a holy people among all nations and peoples forever.
This was indeed a very high-level choice that no other foreign country dared to look up to.
1. Are we God's special possession?
Clearly, we were fallen sinners, beings who had no choice but to die for the wages of our sins.
However, God considers us as treasures hidden in a field and has chosen us by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, paying all the price for us.
“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field; when a man found it, he hid it, and rejoiced, went back and sold all that he had and bought the field” (Matthew 13:44).
And today, we are reconfirming who we are as living beings with the following words.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the goodness of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
2. The lives bought with the blood of the Lord are protected lives.
If we have a treasure, it is very natural to put our minds on it.
If a man's treasure is in a boat floating on rough seas, he will constantly toss and turn on his bed, worrying about its safety.
If his treasure is cloth, he will try to keep it from rotting, and if it is precious metal, he will try to keep it from thieves.
It's hard to imagine that Jesus Christ would carelessly leave us as his treasure by throwing his life away.
The promise that Jesus promised to protect us even to the point of laying down his life as the Good Shepherd has not changed at all.
“I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
We, as his sheep, remain safe from any of today's ferocious beasts by staying in his cage only. I hope you believe it.
3. God's treasure is His forever.
Treasure is a special possession.
God speaks today to His chosen children.
“I will make them my special possession on my appointed day, saith the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 3:17).
The bodies, which have become God's special possession, now have no reason, ability, or time to shake their hands.
It is only in his possession that he obeys his will.
God does not, under any circumstances, abandon the lives he already possessed by sacrificing his only begotten Son.
He protects you from the high and rough waves of the world and delivers you from the cruel temptations of Satan.
And he must use those lives for the glory of God.

1). Please confirm once again that the ownership of our life is not yours anymore.
It is that the saints who know whose hand their life is in will find the blessed way.
2). Please listen to the voice of the master of life and pay attention to keeping his covenant.
When you ignore that sound, tragedy will surely come and you will experience getting lost and lost.
3). Whenever the Master of Life sees us, please make sure that we are always ready to deliver songs of joy and emotion of love.
4). I hope that you can confirm that you have become his child not because of my merits, but through the grace given unconditionally, and live today with pride that anyone can boast about.
