I said that the core values of our church are the love of God, the love of the saints, and the love of the neighbor. This is the greatest commandment that Jesus gave.
Now, we would like to think about God's vision in the Word among the goals of our church: God's Vision, Jesus Christ's Disciple, and the Holy Spirit's work.
God has a personality. He is not an accidental, improvised person. God's will is accomplished through God's plan. Because of the famine, the Israelites who had settled in Egypt during the time of Joseph 400 years ago became slaves to Egypt. When the suffering reached its peak, God spoke to Moses. God, who came to Mount Horeb, tells Moses the vision of what God will do in the future.
God knows the suffering of the people (verse 7).
I have clearly seen the affliction of my people, I have heard their cry, I have known their sorrow... . They are all images of God looking at the condition of the people. Why does God see, hear, and know? Because they are God's people. The value of the people of Israel in God's opinion is not because they are great, but because they are God's people. Among the prosperous and powerful peoples of the nations, He made the nation of Israel, which was a servant, as God's people. We must not forget that the God who hears our groaning is because we are God's children. God's vision starts from the suffering of the people.
God has come down (verse 8).
Where are you coming from? It is the seat of the servant. It is a place of pain. From top to bottom, from heaven to earth, the Creator will descend to the place of creation's despair. A true vision is not just a grand and wonderful picture. God's will is vision. Life is revived from the place of despair and pain, and what is broken is being built right. To do that, you have to be willing to take a bad seat. This is the true vision. God is coming down to the place of indescribably tragic tragedy where hope is lost and a son is born and he must be killed. This vision of God was fully fulfilled by the coming of Jesus. He came as a human to give life in the place of death and destruction.
God fulfills the vision (verse 10).
God's coming down was to fulfill God's plan, God's vision. It is the deliverance of the people of Israel from the hand of the Egyptians. It is not a temporary escape, but a whole new world, a new earth. It is being transferred to the reign of God. I will bring you to a beautiful and vast land, a land flowing with milk and honey. It was God's plan and vision to lead us from the place of suffering to the world that God rules.
Go now (verse 9).
God speaks to Moses. This is not to say that you should go to a place where you can relax and enjoy your leisure, not to a place where you can enjoy wealth and glory. “I will bring my people to you.” This is the purpose of Moses' life. It was a mission to do. God's vision of saving God's chosen people was entrusted to Moses. We must listen to the Lord's commands.
God with the missionary (verse 12)
When Moses heard the word of God, he was terrified. 'Who am I that I go to Pharaoh and do this great work?' It's just that I'm not the kind of bowler.
God's entrusting of a mission is not related to a person's talents. It is because of the power that God bestows. It is difficult for a person who believes in his or her skill and is proud of himself to be used before God. However, it is unfortunate if we go beyond humility and reject God's mission through unbelief. God promises to Moses. "I will definitely be with you"
If we have God's vision, God will surely be with us. Those who have the dream of God, God will make that dream come true. The important thing is to understand and obey God's plan and will. It was God's vision that more than 2 million slaves would come out of Egypt through Moses. God knew the suffering of the people, and came down to establish and guide Moses. Our dream is to do the will of God. It is to build up the church of God. That is our vision. Have God's heart. Have a vision of God. I hope that you will become a missionary with whom God is always with you.
