Word / Bible: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Title: God's Will for Us
1. I told you to always rejoice.
It means to live with wrinkles on your face. It is not to build a lush statue, but to have a bright face. “It was good in God’s sight” This goes further by saying, “It was good in the eyes of the neighbors,” and we must live with a face that can be said. Not a face full of worries, but a face that is always happy and smiling is a beautiful face in the eyes of God and neighbors. Don't be discouraged if your life isn't going the way you want it to. We have God who is the best coach and coach in the world. Get up again with Ottuji. Start fresh. Then, sooner or later, you will realize the deep economy of God in which all things work together for good, and you will be thankful for His grace. So always be happy. Even though I can't understand it with my head and I can't do it on my own, it's to rejoice and give thanks first of all.
2. He told us to pray without ceasing.
We tend to seek God only when we have problems. But God is telling us to pray without ceasing. It means to always live with a prayerful heart. For us believers, there is nothing to worry about under any circumstances. Our children's schooling, business, or illness are none of our concern. Everything is a matter of prayer, not of concern. “But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Then God will hear our prayers and show us His will. Whenever you are faced with a difficult situation, please think, “Aha, God wants to hear more of my prayers” and pray more constantly. Only those who pray can overcome the greed of Achan, the temptation of Potiphar's wife, envy like King Saul, jealousy, and pride like Haman. Live a life of prayer all the time.
3 He said to give thanks in everything.
