Title: God's Wisdom
God's Wisdom
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
We must have the ability to discern wisdom. This is very important in knowing the wisdom of God. The wisdom of the world is called the wisdom of rulers. The wisdom of the world is the wisdom to learn and know. It is wisdom that comes from experience. Since this wisdom is wisdom without God, it is not true wisdom because it is wisdom that does not understand what God has done in all things.
For example, the wisdom of Philip and the wisdom of Andrew are different. In the empty fields, Philip told Jesus that there were a lot of people. talked about time. And we talked about the place. And we talked about real problems. There is human wisdom in Philip's story. But Jesus was not in Philip's wisdom. Andrew brought five fish to Jesus. From a human point of view, there is no wisdom. He's a no-nonsense person. But Jesus was in Andrew's mind.
Paul is now speaking these words while dealing with the problem of the church in Corinth. It is to say that when a community or problem arises, it is because human wisdom tries to solve the problem. There is no solution to any problem if we solve it with human thinking. So was the church in Corinth. After all, the problem with the church is because it sees the problem with worldly wisdom.
Wisdom is speaking of realizing what God has hidden. That is, to understand God's will and to know God's plan. Therefore, if we want to gain wisdom, we must come before God. If you lack wisdom, ask God, who gives generously without rebuking you. We'll have to discuss it, but it's more important to pray. The Apostle Paul said that the place where the wisdom of God is hidden is the cross. It is said that God hid the most wonderful plan of man's salvation on the cross. The cross always appears as a double figure. It is the wisdom of God to those who are being saved, but foolishness to those who do not know it, and glory to those who are being saved, but a shame to those who do not know it.
The cross is the most important key to unlocking the mystery of God. Only when the saints realize this rightly can they discover the wisdom of God in all their lives. Just as he hid man's salvation in the death of the cross, so God hid the most contradictory things in him. God hid glory in suffering, hid high in low, and hid holy comfort and reward in persecution and trial. Because Paul knew this, he said that our sufferings are not worthy to be compared with the glory that we will enjoy.
Therefore, verse 9 says that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has conceived of all that God has prepared for those who love him. This means that the blessings hidden by God cannot be discovered by human nature. The Bible thoroughly teaches that we cannot by nature realize the salvation of God. (Romans 3:12) All have turned aside, and one thing has become useless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
The key to unlocking the mystery hidden by God in life is the Holy Spirit. Here it is said that only God has been revealed to us by the Holy Spirit, who searches all things, even the deep things of God. The word seen here is in contrast to the word not seen in front of him. It is said that only the Holy Spirit can show and understand the world of God's mystery to life.
Believers must always have positive and positive faith in the work of the Holy Spirit.
(Mat 12:32) And whoever speaks against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven neither in this world nor in the world to come.
(Mark 3:29) Anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but will be condemned to eternal sin.
No one can live as God's people without the help of the Holy Spirit.
Who can know the things of a man except the spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the circumstances of God except the Spirit of God. The thoughts within us are known by no one but ourselves. No one can know the thoughts that are within me unless I have said them. He said that no one could know the things of God without the help of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God.
A person teaching others should always keep in mind that he must be an instrument to the Holy Spirit. You have to let go of the idea that you can change anyone. Because only the Holy Spirit can teach life right away. What the church should be most careful with is entrusting work to people who are not under the control of the Holy Spirit. The Lord's work cannot be done without the help of the Holy Spirit.
