Title: God-Given Principle
God-given principles
Text: Numbers 2:1-9
God entrusted a mission to God's people and taught us a roadmap to complete it. It can be said that it is a principle of faith. Today's text tells how the people of Israel should organize their camps and march in the process of the Exodus.
First, he tells each tribe the principle of camp formation. Verse 2 tells us to encamp next to the standard of the camp and the sign of the family of our ancestors. Second, he commanded us to raise the flag of the family. This is to advance the family's honor. Third, by appointing a commander, he made an organization. The fourth principle prevented confusion during the march by arranging the order of the march.
In this way, God is specifically leading the people. Concrete and abstract make a big difference when it comes to results. God is the one who instructs David even the strategy and method of war. In order for people of God to be born again as people of God and live a changed life, they must make a decision. However, there is a reason why it is three days. The fact that it took 40 years to enter Canaan means that there were many things that had to be thrown away during the 40 years.
Charles Schwab, the CEO of Bethlehem Steel, who was once a strong player in the global steel industry, met Abiri, the best consultant of the time, to manage the profit. Abiri consulted Bethlehem Steel, and instead of submitting a report, he wrote down the most important thing to Charles Schwab on a note now. Then, I continued to write down the second and third most important things in order. And I took out the first one, and I couldn't take the second one out or see it until I got it done. It made me focus on what's important. After that, Bethlehem Steel made a huge profit, and Schwab happily paid Abiri a large sum of money.
If the person of God has set principles for change and victory, it is better to share those principles with people close to you and receive constant guidance. I have this principle in my family. Read a chapter of the Bible each morning before breakfast. Every Saturday, we hold a family worship service and call our grandmothers and grandfathers before the family worship service.
When I went to the Holy Land training, Israeli middle school students came on a field trip and stayed at the same hotel. I was going to the cafeteria for breakfast, and some students were reading something in front of the cafeteria. It was the Old Testament. Their first principle in life was to eat the Word of God before breakfast each day. I will keep that principle even during the school trip. Even where parents don't see it. It was a scene where one could guess where the power of the Jews was coming from.
* Prayer: We want to become people and families who can be used for missions to the nation, people, and world by putting the principles God has given us and established by us well. Amen.
