Title: God Calls Cain
Contents
There are a lot of books these days dealing with topics such as success, finance, and leadership. It can be said that it is an example that reflects the desperate wish of modern people for success in life.
The success of our life will, in a sense, be determined by the blessing of meeting, that is, by the side of the relationship. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the conduct and misfortunes of one's life depend on how inevitably, innate encounters such as parents and country, and encounters caused by acquired factors such as teachers, occupations, and marriages take place.
However, through the Bible today, God is talking about the restoration of two important relationships in our lives. I hope that you will live a blessed life as a saint by restoring the blessings of relationships through today's Word.
1. The relationship with God must be restored through faith in Jesus Christ.
Cain and Abel, the sons of Adam and Eve, grew up, and Cain was a farmer, so he offered sacrifices to God with the harvested grain, but Abel was a herder, so he sacrificed his sheep. God was pleased with Abel's offering and did not accept Cain's offering. Cain, angry at this fact, lured his younger brother into the field one day, became jealous of his younger brother, and killed him.
The reason God accepted Abel's offering more than Cain's was not because of Abel's personality or human condition.
Hebrews 11:4 "By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain,
, because God testifies of the gift.”
The only reason God accepted Abel's offering was the fact that he offered it out of faith in God. The people and offerings that God is pleased with are those who know the grace of God who made skins for the restoration of the Garden of Eden, which was lost due to human sin, and covered the shame of our sins through the blood of life. It is a gift given with faith and hope that we can recover the eternal life and blessings of Eden that were lost because of this.
Saints!
Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.
Esau lived the life of a fool who sold eternal life, the gift of God, because of his lust for a bowl of red bean soup. However, believers who truly believe in the existence of God and the existence of heaven believe in eternal life that cannot be given up in the midst of any hardships and problems, and the love of God who does not give up, and overcomes the lusts and temptations of this world and is victorious. that can be lived.
2. It is to live a life in which relationships with people are restored.
( :7 ) 'If you do good, how can you not be greeted? If you do not do good, sin is at the doorstep.
You. Sin's desire is with you, but you must rule over it."
After Adam's transgression, man became a prisoner of sin that he had no choice but to live. Just as iron is attracted to a magnet, the human will never has the power to overcome this sinful lust, nor can it overcome it. As a result, he became more and more stubborn, or had no choice but to live a life of despair, suicide, and insanity. As a result, they become prisoners of sin that makes their lives and the lives of others unhappy as well.
Also, sin causes humans to live a life of aimless wandering and emptiness on this earth. And no matter how hard you work, you have come to live a life of suffering that bears little fruit compared to your hard work. As a result, in the end, as verse 13 says, we have no choice but to face the end where we have no choice but to fall into a deep sense of condemnation and despair.
3. God forgave and saved us like Cain.
When Cain was in deep condemnation and fear for killing Abel, God spoke to Cain.
'Whoever kills Cain will be punished sevenfold.' He gave Cain a mark and gave it to anyone he met.
freed them from death."
As such, God, who gave Cain the sign of salvation, forgave our sins and sent Jesus Christ to save us. Therefore, to anyone who realizes sin in their heart and believes in Jesus Christ, the sign of salvation that God has given us, the gift of eternal life is freely given. A person who has received this love of God will live a life as a blessed child of God that spreads happiness in human relationships by loving others with the love God has given.
Saints!
We all love and serve God the Father who gave Jesus Christ, and we also live a life of freely giving the free love that God has given us. do.
